San Diego pandemic protests bring out everyone with an opinion
I hope this doesn't lead to looting and rioting. It's happening elsewhere.— May 6, 2020 7:04 p.m.
Unemployment claims with Governor Newsom
The constant struggle of trying to save lives, but not letting people work for a living, put food on their table and keep a roof over their head. Where do you draw the line? Mr. Newsom, please keep in mind that your dad had money, but he gave a lot of his money away. Your mom (Rest in Peace) struggled as a single mom, and there were years that you and Hillary (your sister - not Clinton) didn't get Christmas gifts. You worked three jobs in high school to help your family financially. You are a multi-millionaire, but you know what it's like to struggle. Please don't make people suffer anymore than they have to. Every word in this article is true. No one is in this position by any fault of their own. Thank you.— May 6, 2020 12:42 p.m.
Sara Jacobs self-funds House campaign to the tune of $2.74 million
You have to write attention grabbing headlines. It will draw in even the most disinterested or skeptical reader. It took me awile to figure it out myself. Most of us didn't go to j-school.— May 5, 2020 9:39 a.m.
El Cajon – from rednecks to immigrants
A derogatory slur towards men that aren't attracted to the opposite sex.— May 5, 2020 8:35 a.m.
El Cajon – from rednecks to immigrants
The Hells Angels were sad to see at any given moment. Sonny Barger and company weren't exactly quality people.— May 5, 2020 8:04 a.m.
A close look at religions in San Diego
Pastor Clarke, you're late for church.— May 3, 2020 9:14 a.m.
Oceanside's cheapest housing is in the harbor
Ken - my above comment was directed towards David. He leaves me with the impression that there's a little more "going on" than life along the water in Oceanside.— April 30, 2020 12:10 p.m.
Hey, Gavin Newsom, we need to work
Something tells me we'll be on lockdown for a long time. Newsom has a long standing history of overstepping his power. I don't think it's safe to re-open the state yet, but people do need their paychecks, and kids need to be in school. I hope the shutdown doesn't cause more damage than what it's worth. It is time to get realistic. Money doesn't grow on trees, and not all parents will teach their children at home.— April 30, 2020 8:26 a.m.
Oceanside's cheapest housing is in the harbor
You made it personal towards me and all the other readers, but I know that all comments are "fair game." I hope you find happiness within. We don't live in Oceanside, and I wish you well. You sound very paranoid. He was just writing an article, because that's what journalists do.— April 29, 2020 9:21 p.m.
Oceanside's cheapest housing is in the harbor
Perhaps you should buy the San Diego Reader. Or apply for an editors position. We'll agree to disagree.— April 29, 2020 12:26 p.m.
