Ramona Will Have Its Green Jellÿ
I saw Exodus at the Jumping Turtle---Great show..... Forbidden was good also. Deicide is pretty lame. NC is far to drive to, don't know if I'll make it up to Ramona, maybe for Testament. Not to many local bands do it for me, but I might check 'em out for $5 at some venue off of El Cajon on occasion. www.myspace.com/clrawkstars— October 23, 2009 9:10 p.m.
Alan Silva & the Cosmic Originals -- It's an Emergency
You can't go wrong with any project involving the Great Clifford! He is one of the most eccletic and original musicians on the San Diego scene. Many times have I witnessed his pyrotechnic exhibitionism. Truly amazing! Nuff said.— October 23, 2009 9:01 p.m.
Local Pornographer Confessions, plus Online Booty Calls
As far as "jack-shack's" like Jolar Cinema, I had heard that in the early days of sperm donation an enterprising mop man had set up a sideline business. He was collecting semen from anonymous and unknowing donors and selling it as anonymous splooge to various families around the country. Strangely enough, a few porno creeps who had never actually been with women became fathers to dozens of children. The mop man was tried but unsuccessfully convicted. He had not broken any written laws according to his lawyer. So just like a public park one should pack in and pack out their kleenex, least they become an unwilling donor stroking a boner.— June 19, 2008 10:43 a.m.
Young People Need to See What It's Like
Hello- Well, I can see some of your frustration, however, I don't think you should've quit. Obviously this wasn't an ideal situation, but you should've stuck with it until something better came along. It's easier to get work when you have work and harder when you are unemployed. Also, as far as the people you were managing, they probably had a mimimum wage mentality that this job doesn't pay well and they really don't care much. Your supervisor may have realised that although the girls attitudes were not great, he wasn't going to get much better if any better for the same wages. People chat too much on their cell phones. Always chatting while driving, while working and even while in the restroom. As far as the post office's split shift, that does seem like a pain. And with gas being so expensive, I understand your need to stay local.— June 16, 2008 10:13 p.m.
