Mission Valley Village
I take the trolley through your neighborhood at least once a week. I wasn't aware of this idiocy until I read your blog. Oy. Best to you and your community in fighting these Pigs. thepiertoforever.blogspot.com— November 17, 2008 10:51 p.m.
In Defense of the Suburbs
As Peak Oil asserts itself (and it will, despite the fluctuating gas prices currently), suburbia will become know for what it is: the greatest single mistake in human history. All those resources. All that arable land. All that waste. May we learn from our mistakes and take care to do what we can to correct them before the Age of Oil ends! Best-- thepiertoforever.blogspot.com— November 16, 2008 11:34 p.m.

My girlfriend's car was vandalized last week. The homeowner, who had to either see it happen or know it happened by a partygoer at his very house the night before, feigned indifference and ignorance when we confronted him over it. Sad. I can understand your situation. Best-- thepiertoforever.blogspot.com— November 16, 2008 11:29 p.m.
Painfully Normal: Suburbia, East Chula Vista and Family Values
My best to you and your father. East Chula Vista is a morass of suburban sprawl, yes. It is why I rarely visit it. But if we wish to change the world, does it not begin with each of us? That's my tack, at least. Best to you from Imperial Beach-- thepiertoforever.blogspot.com— November 16, 2008 9:28 p.m.

I will have to visit soon! Thanks for the sketch of your neighborhood! Best-- thepiertoforever.blogspot.com— November 16, 2008 9:25 p.m.
The Hill is Alive with the Sounds of...
A beautiful sketch of your neighborhood; thanks for this. I look forward to reading more from you in the future. Best-- :--) thepiertoforever.blogspot.com— November 16, 2008 1:50 p.m.
Creative Writing Class – First Day
I took one creative writing class. I hated it. The professor was a haughty, jerky man, one who clearly enjoyed "workshopping" our efforts. Sad. I hope your class goes much better. Best to you and this blog. It looks great. thepiertoforever.blogspot.com/— November 16, 2008 1:46 p.m.
Choose Tecate
This is the second such article on Tecate I've read this week. Both recommended a visit. I think I shall. Best to you and this blog. I'll pop by again soon. thepiertoforever.blogspot.com— November 16, 2008 12:06 p.m.
back to basics
It is. One wonders just how serious the new City Council will be on this issue when it comes time. It will be interesting to see how it tricks out. Best to you and this blog. :--) thepiertoforever.blogspot.com— November 14, 2008 11:51 p.m.
Imperial Beach, the Good/the Bad
I'm actually excited for the new improvements. Seacoast Avenue needs lots of work: it's butt-ugly and pretty much everyone knows it. Best to you and this blog. I look forward to reading more soon! thepiertoforever.blogspot.com— November 14, 2008 11:49 p.m.
