Yes, "Puss Posse" does work, doesn't it? ;) What is your adorable baby's name, Grant? Sure looks Tabbyish or perhaps Maine Coonish to me?— March 3, 2010 1:25 a.m.

Again, Pete, you are missing the irony.— March 2, 2010 2:09 a.m.

re:#10: Diego, props to your sense of self. Here's to wads and wads of $$$ doing what you do best ;)— March 2, 2010 12:32 a.m.
Dave & Busters
I thought Dave & Busters WAS for children! Or is it just for grown up children? Dunno, as I'd never go there. ;)— March 1, 2010 11:21 p.m.

"Reached for comment, UCSD professor of poetry and poetics Rae Armantrout called the poem “rhythmically strong, not overly slavish to the original, and frankly terrifying.”" Gringo (mis)quoted: "Or rather, as the article suggests, it could be "frankly terrifying". The article didn't suggest it, "Rae Armantrout" did. And she would never say anything like this--Scanlon must have missed this line. I wouldn't worry about it, though, as it should clue in the rest of the readership. :)— March 1, 2010 11:12 p.m.

"a smilin' cattle dog..." You really know how to paint a portrait and set a scene, nan. I feel like I've got to write in and acknowledge this so many times that maybe I should just shut up and enjoy it! (As long as you continue to know how much I appreciate your images, that is, or I'll have to remind you again) :)— March 1, 2010 4:53 p.m.
TWITTER-PATED
So true, nan! So LPR you originate from our fine Northwest? We spent Xmas in Portland and WA state, and LOVE Portland. Seattle, too, but only spent one night there, and it seemed muy expensive. I liked the feeling I had in Portland, hanging with my favorite college-aged, hip cousin--everyone should have one of these in Portland. :) Anyway, we were thinking we would fit in better up there. Whaddya think, nan? Rain, flowers, everything rich and lush and green, and potentially our pockets, if there are jobs enough in "the man's" field of work... and people with a social conscience, who read and think before speaking--THAT is heaven to me right there!— March 1, 2010 4:50 p.m.

re: #24: Hey Grantie, just do exactly what Cuddle has written above, and it is easy, really. I don't know what happened with me, but ignore it--I did something wierd and saved my pics the wrong way. It is so easy to get an account at photobucket, and they translate the codes, so all you have to do is copy and paste it like an address or link, where you want it in your text. Do it! We want to see your puss posse! (Did that sound wrong, somehow? ;) re:#28: Hey, LPR! Nice to see you! Sounds like you've had a mouser in your life ;) I have too, but my current kitty is strictly indoors. I saved him from the big bad coyotes, as you can infer from his tale, and he is so far content to enjoy the splendors afforded him inside with a doting human female always there to cuddle, play, and administer treats. re:#29: Nan! He ignores that bear now! Used to wrestle with it, the whole deal with trying to disembowel it. Alas, now Mr. Bear sits with the rest of his neglected toys.— March 1, 2010 2:19 p.m.

merci, nan! I agree he is quite tasty, and the photo does not do justice to his plush coat and golden green eyes. Can you tell I love love love my fur boyfriend? ;)— March 1, 2010 3:33 a.m.
