Rain, Rain, Go Away...
#1 I have lived in San Diego all my life. Most the people I now know in my adult life, at my job, social life, even my wife, are from other parts of the country, if not the world. I don't think it is the San Diegans who drive like nuts, its the transplants that are. I would love to see a statistic of how many wrecks were caused by someone who was a tranplanted san diegan; I believe it would be very telling.— December 8, 2009 11:45 a.m.
History 101; via Hollywood!!!
But they kind of do that now with some of the so called 'history' books they chose to use. At least if I were a parent and my kid saw JFK I could tell the 'other side' of the story. With today's history books you don't really know what your kid is learning, accept usually it tilts left.— December 7, 2009 7:53 p.m.
History 101; via Hollywood!!!
I'll leave the spitting and swallowing to the Adam Lambert bloggers. Someone has to keep the blogs around her more 'high brow', with STICK IT UP YOUR BUTT and the other provocative blogs. Good thing I don't swim in that muck.— December 7, 2009 12:30 p.m.
Parachutting Accidents and Sex Changes
Wouldn't it be CHAD Bono now???— December 7, 2009 12:27 p.m.
Them Other Humans!
#4 I'm more worried that they could create clones, somehow lower their brain power to where they are just 'mindless' bodies that could be trained to do a certain task. The church wouldn't consider them 'complete' humans, and already would think they are going to hell because they were not created by God, and whammo; slaves. I mean, thats what drove slavery for many centuries; the belief that Africans were not 'complete' humans. All they need to do is have the Church decide these clones are not really humans, and the Governments of the world sign laws agreeing with such, and then you could have millions of slaves to do the jobs that no one else wants to do. You never know.— December 7, 2009 6:55 a.m.
Liver and Mushrooms
I have no problem with this guy who was in a coma writing a book, cashing in, and getting millions. This is one of those times I think he should "clean their clocks" for every penny he can get. I think most people would agree. I was reading further on this story. Several years ago the family was approached to pull the plug on the guy because he had been unresponsive for all those years. Makes one truly appreciate the advancement of modern medicine. Makes you wonder if some other plugs were pulled a bit too soon.— December 7, 2009 6:49 a.m.
What Is It, South Park, That Porn Did to You?
There is a reason why most major cities have a 'central' hub like Hillcrest. The term 'bottled up' might come to mind, or,the word isolated might be another. Hillcrest is like that old aunt/uncle that families keep up in the attic. When new comers arrive to San Diego we natives 'educate' them on the 'buzz word' ares. Hillcrest, South Mission Beach, El Cajon Blvd, for their various 'attactions' and 'danger' elements as well. Reminds me of the time I was in Hobart; but I digress. Hillcrest does provide a very valuable service, and we should all be thankful, and sleep safe at night, knowing just what it is.— December 6, 2009 9:12 a.m.
Living DINOSAUR found!!!
With blogs about ROUGH ANAL SEX and THONGS, I decided to go a little light.— December 4, 2009 7:35 p.m.
On ADAM LAMBERT's side; this time.
And thats the point, isn't Flnow? If ABC doesn't want to Adam, for whatever reason, that is their right isn't it? I was watching Fallon when I made that post, but you are right, it was Kimmel who nixed it. As for whether or not ABC made the right decision? ABC GMA still beat CBS's This Morning when Adam was on. There are many people out there who don't care for Adam. Some people at work, young people, can't stand him. I actually like him. I think his version of THE TRACKS OF MY TEARS blew Smokey Robinson's version way.— December 4, 2009 7:33 p.m.
