Filner, Goldsmith slated to meet tomorrow
It's what's in Goldsmith's head that's ugly, what's on his head is just silly.— August 19, 2013 4:14 p.m.

Filner, Goldsmith slated to meet tomorrow
Specifics? You're pounding the table, his supporters aren't the issue.— August 19, 2013 2:42 p.m.
Filner, Goldsmith slated to meet tomorrow
Indict Filner for his acts. Whenever critics wander onto topics like amateur diagnoses, characterization, the geographics of his supporters, etc. They distract from what he is accused. Which is kidding and kissing a 400 hundred pound woman, discussing underwear, touching women while being photographed, asking single women for dates. I suggest critics pound the table because the facts are idiotic, and the law very difficult.— August 19, 2013 11:05 a.m.
Filner, Goldsmith slated to meet tomorrow
He cared enough to go there, he knows more than you. Apparently you believe your TV set, which explains a lot. You're joking about contradicting an in person witness with a TV report I hope. Right??— August 19, 2013 2:02 a.m.
Filner, Goldsmith slated to meet tomorrow
Seems like the first weekend of the recall campaign was completely botched. The organizing and rallies should have been on Saturday, for a Sunday start. Instead they had two competing events at the very time they should have been collecting signatures, The crowd in the Downtown event was small, the excuse that others were in Mission Valley, incredibly stupid. The kids in the Occupy movement were much better organised, and they had no money, no media, and were learning. I suppose there really are millionaires ready to let these "organizers" play with seven figures of their daddy's money, but they might get better results hiring some kids on a college campus, with pep rally experience.— August 19, 2013 1:51 a.m.
How Goldsmith tries the Filner case on TV
I'm not a lawyer, but I do know delaying a deposition isn't usually a big deal. It's not Allred, but Goldsmith who called for the early deposition against Filner's wishes, abusing his position as co-defendant. As he makes clear in the bizarre interview linked above, he is openly conspiring with the plaintiff, and believes he can help her win money from the City, and the early deposition is part of that effort, it's not subtle. If plaintiff would sign a specific complaint, Filner might not contest the presented facts, but argue before the judge that those facts don't add up to sexual harassment, and they might not. Should the judge rule against him on this, he would pay damages and the case would end. This is a very normal way of settling cases, and likely the cheapest for the City, especially if you believe, as Goldsmith does, that the allegations are true. But Goldsmith obviously has no intention of defending the City from liability and expense.— August 18, 2013 3:09 p.m.
