Oh Jane...Jane...Jane...Jane...even your respondents knew this was a bad question.— March 3, 2010 12:09 p.m.

So let me get this straight, Cuddles-you're going to report my comments as outrageous directly to The Reader but you won't report this "blog" directly to The Reader even though you're just as outraged? ROTFLMMFAO!!!! I rest my case, your honor. :-D We don't need Mr.Mason to solve this case. I've done that on my own.— March 3, 2010 11:25 a.m.

Aaaaaah. Gotcha, refried. That makes perfect sense.— March 3, 2010 10:59 a.m.

Jeff Smith? The Frugal Gourmet? I'd like to see him fight Julia Child in a Dead Celebrity Death Match.— March 3, 2010 10:57 a.m.

BTW ladies, your fake sense of outrage cracks me up. ;-D I think the Reader needs to hand out some sort of award for drama.— March 3, 2010 10:50 a.m.

*grabs bottle of lotion and proceeds to jerk off while dreaming of CF and AG beating the s*** out of each other* OH YEAH!!!! Gigitty! Gigitty! Gigitty! Goo! Heh heh!— March 3, 2010 10:49 a.m.

Refried-my question was directed to Mindy. She said the guy who applied to be a baseball coach was arrested. I'm curious why. She also states that he was caught by using the Megan's Law website. Again, false sense of security. Megan's Law only deals with sex offenders but a full background check deals with everything.— March 3, 2010 10:07 a.m.

Forgive me for being cynical. What exactly was he arrested for? I don't get it.— March 3, 2010 12:03 a.m.

While locked up, I talked to many different types of criminals including sex offenders. I met a few sex offenders who, like myself, were victims of sex offenders at an early age. One guy was repeatedly raped by his uncle. He went on to rape his niece. He told me once, "Nobody can judge me until they know what it's like to take an 8" cock up their ass at 6 years old". As much as I chewed this over in mind, it scared me. That guy could've easily been me. I'm into some kinky s*** but kids aren't one of them. I have no sympathy for him or any other sex offender but it certainly made me think about it. Americans are unfortunetely a stupid group of humans. Myself included on some social issues. Megan's Law does nothing but inflate the egos of self-centered politicians. There is no child living in America right now that is safer because a website points out where a sex offender MAY be at any given time. The real travesty isn't the fact that John Gardner raped and murdered Chelsea KIng. It's the fact that Americans believe that a "law" makes them feel safe.— March 2, 2010 9:22 p.m.

Refried-I meant to state that humans are omnivores, NOT carnivores. I have the same opinions on vegans as you do-if someone wants to eat nothing but grass, cool. That's just more meat for me. It seems that vegans can't afford me the same respect that I afford them. Such is life. I'm over it. MsGrant-You honestly think that there would be more Chelsea Kings without Megan's Law or Jessica's Law? Really? As someone who thinks and sometimes acts as a criminal, let me tell you something about life...criminals don't give a s*** what vanilla humans think or say. We are a nation of laws because of people like you. Don't get wrong here on Megan's Law, guys. I don't believe in it because we sacrifice civil rights for peace of mind. That's not how this country became a great bastion of freedom. I'm with you all on this one-I say blow the pervs dicks off and let him rot in hell. The thing that worries me though is the fact that this country has a prudish hang up about sex. I'm not advocating that NAMBLA be honored for their fine, upstanding citizens. I commited a violent crime back in 1999. Luckily for all involved, only my victims got their feelings hurt. It could've turned out worse but it didn't. I did my crime, did my time, was released from parole and got on with my life. If the slippery slope continues, refried's thoughts on the Scarlet Letter may just become a vision of a future I want no part of in a "free" society. I'm in no way blaming Chelsea for her death or supporting John Gardner for his crime but facts are facts-His first victim declined to go to trial and Gardner was out on parole in 2006. He's been off parole for awhile now, just like I am. He would've been off parole in about a year even if his first victim had gone to trial. He was facing a maximum of 11 years incarceration ending his sentence sometime next year. He most likely would've been on the streets by now anyhow. He was facing 11 years max for beating a 13 year old girl and attempting to her. I was facing 104 years for Armed Robbery, Armed Burglary, False Imprisonment and Concealing Identity During The Commision of a Felony. By those standards, I should be rotting in prison and Gardner should be Man of the Year. See my point about the uselessness of Megan's/Jessica's Laws in regards to feeling safe?— March 2, 2010 9:14 p.m.
