Baby steps in Baja: Day One - Puerto Nuevo
Best deal I ever got is 5 medium lobsters for $10 with dinner and a shot of tequila included. Only in-season for langosta, but out-of-season for tourists, mind you. Well worth the trip down there!— September 20, 2013 7:56 p.m.
Labor Council to support David Alvarez for Mayor
David Alvarez has shown himself to be an anti-labor Republican, and blocked various things that would have helped the poor.— September 13, 2013 9:48 p.m.
Hotel owners behind police clashes with union give big to newly minted Democrat Fletcher
Fletcher is obviously a conservative Republican, and the voters mandated a Very Liberal Democrat for Mayor. Anyway, a large group plans to recall Fletcher if he is elected.— September 13, 2013 9:47 p.m.
Drugs, guns seized in massive police sweep
A lot of the dope biz moved from El Cajon, Spring Valley, Santee, and Lakeside, up the road to more-rural Poway and even Ramona, where there are a lot fewer police. What fascinates me the most about the illegal drugs trade is the connections with both the Mafia and the Political Parties at the same time!— September 11, 2013 4:03 p.m.
San Diego FBI building financed by Chinese seeking U.S. visas, senator says
Keep up the good work. As you can see, some parts of the FBI, MOB, and prominant Democrats and Republicans are all working for the same organization: Organized Crime, of course. Most people think that the MOB is the Labor Unions, because the Mafia told them that on their TV and Radio stations!— September 11, 2013 3:59 p.m.
Mayoral hopefuls Alvarez, Fletcher speak at labor-organized immigration reform event
Neither Alvarez nor Fletcher are suited to organize San Diego. The voters wanted a Very Liberal Democrat, and neither is one. Mike Aguirre, Lori Saldaña, or Marty Block?— September 10, 2013 11:01 p.m.
To gift or not to gift. City Attorney's Office questioned donation of homeless shelter but was silent for Sunroad land giveaway
There is a growing call for the resignation of City Attorney Jan Goldsmith, or, if necessary, his recall. He is the one who felony-prosecuted a man for chalk drawings on a sidewalk that were not obscene nor improper. What is next, Felony Hopscotch?— September 10, 2013 10:55 p.m.
Never Homeless: Sprinkler alarm in Mission Bay Park
Very true and authentic article, and it really hits home as to the problems of us homeless. Transportation and storage are the biggest problems, because if you have transportation, there are thousands of meals being served, but where do you store your stuff? Food and library internet access are actually transportation problems. I have a list of food resources at www.NZ9F.com/B, because that was my biggest concern, once I became homeless 6 years ago.— September 10, 2013 10:51 p.m.
Never Homeless: Sprinkler alarm in Mission Bay Park
Really lucky we did not elect Mitt Romney, who wanted to eliminate all Social Security, Disability, and Military Retirement pay, right? No, I don't like Obama, either. He is a Republican, too, as you have indicated.— September 10, 2013 10:48 p.m.
Aguirre: "Put essentials first and wants second."
Mike Aguirre is obviously the best qualified for the job, if not Lori Soldaña or Marty Block, who would also work out. The voters mandated a VERY LIBERAL DEMOCRAT, so let us go with that. Toad Glorious (Todd Gloria), Sinkhole DeMaio (Carl DeMaio), and above all Nathan Flasher (Nathan Fletcher) are all super-conservative Republicans, and Fletcher seems to waffle into a different party every ten days. What is his political party now? Communists For Better Social Action?— September 8, 2013 9:59 p.m.
