Betterworldbooks.com is my used book source. They stock everything and their books come in great condition. Plus they carry lots of out of print stuff. I LOVE buying used books. I used to spend way too much buying new, and now with the used book options it's like a reader's crack house. — July 28, 2010 6:09 p.m.

I know! I guess the Vatican wants a piece of the "Pope on a Rope" action now! They've been getting stiffed all these years, but there is still no copyright on the Pope's image. Well, times are tough for everyone, I guess....— July 29, 2010 4:53 p.m.

IT'S THIS BAD!! No more 'Pope on a rope', says the Vatican. "A spokesman for the Catholic Church in England and Wales said: This is not about financial gain or commercial interests. It is simply an attempt to preserve the integrity of the Pope’s image at a time when there is a plethora of new media and there may be concern that it is used inappropriately.'" http://www.find-me-a-gift.co.uk/pope-soap-on-a-ro…— July 29, 2010 3:56 p.m.

PhD from Harvard in business AND a philosopher?!?!? Man, nan, you know how to pick 'em! My husband has a degree in finance and draws the most amazing things. Not anymore, but when he was younger. I find that combination so attractive, that combination of brains and artist. It makes for good company. My copy of "The Pearl" got lost somewhere in my travels, but it had been read so many times that it was falling apart. I read it in 7th grade English the first time and we were able to keep the book. Everyone should read that book.— July 29, 2010 2:33 p.m.
