My Brunch With Yoko
What, may I ask, is wrong with using Lennon's music for good? If just one person makes a donation that saves a life, how does that make her greedy? It's about time his music was put to good use. Now, the car thing is sucky, but the message is the same. We don't own John Lennon's legacy or the Beatles. She was his WIFE, and she has the rights.— March 7, 2010 9:58 a.m.

Oh, dear Lord, how did my blog become The Break-Up?!?! This thread is all over the f***ing place. Refried, I implore you to come back. You cannot just go away. That is cowardly. Just because you had a very public tequila-fueled spat with CF is no reason to bow out. I had a martini-fueled fight with a certain someone who is no longer in the employ of this publication once, and I swore I would never come back. But here I am. Your comments and your writing are appreciated. Every courtroom needs a judge. Judges don't always make the right decisions, but we maintain the right to appeal. That's what keeps dialect interesting. You of all people would be the last person I thought would give up that easily.— March 7, 2010 9:26 a.m.

SD, I thought the same thing!! WTF were they thinking having a "party" crasher that didn't party!? Chad Deal - it's a match made in heathen!!— March 6, 2010 11:23 p.m.
The Trio and His Eminence
Alright, Ponzi, after that sexist crap the gloves are off. I am posting photos everyday. flickr, flickr, flickr. http://www.sandiegoreader.com/news/2010/mar/01/tr…— March 6, 2010 2:01 p.m.
The Trio and His Eminence
Thanks. They're a good-looking bunch.— March 6, 2010 11:12 a.m.
The Trio and His Eminence
Fair enough, Ponzi. I had promised a few pictures of my posse. If you'll excuse me, I have shpilkes and am off to ride my bike.— March 6, 2010 8:35 a.m.

Funny you noticed that. It is a tiki troll. It's a girl, but we named her "Pete" anyway.— March 6, 2010 7:07 a.m.
Peanut and Tiger
Tiger may have been "nippping" but I think when I took that photo he had been sleeping and just woke up. I'll post some more recent photos that show him in a better light. He really is a handsome fellow. CF - your kitties are awesome! Thanks, Nan, I'll see if I can bring 'em down a notch. Anti, Tiger is the Zen master - the "Dude" of the feline world, the Shiva of his time.— March 5, 2010 8:58 p.m.

CF - why remove your posts? God, it's like Lord of the Flies around here.— March 5, 2010 4:19 p.m.
Found a Peanut
Well, Pete, I think you are off your rocker as well, so we have agreed on something already! I actually did not even notice it had been removed until you brought it up. Why would they remove it? "A special place in hell" is a fairly common phrase. It didn't strike me as being particularly offensive, especially coming from you. Refried, I hope you reconsider. Your contributions have given me hours of entertainment. Like you said, we haven't always agreed, but it would be very boring around here if we all did.— March 5, 2010 2:50 p.m.
