Party Crasher Returns - elsewhere
SD, I am pretty sure Pete is gone for good. I got your drift about fighting the good fight alone, and I wish I stood up to that skidmark more, but it got exhausting reading a thread about cats and here comes Pete, and it devolves into a lunatic ranting about castrasting minorities. I can't believe the Reader allowed it to continue as long as it did. Maybe these threads can go back to being fun.— March 9, 2010 1:44 p.m.
Party Crasher Returns - elsewhere
Jay Allen commented on this as well in the new Party Crasher post and offered a link to Board's "new" gig. http://www.sandiegoreader.com/news/2010/mar/03/cr… I got the same impression that Jay is trying to draw attention to the fact that Josh Board has a new home. I didn't care for it here, and I certainly won't go looking for it somewhere else.— March 9, 2010 12:34 p.m.
Pre-gaming
I never read the Crasher column in the Reader. After a few attempts, I could not fathom why they would pay someone to write about parties in such a generic fashion. Clicking on that link, it all came back like a horrible, horrible dream. Chad seems like the real "Deal". I like his style.— March 9, 2010 7:06 a.m.

Found a Peanut
It's just a bit much sometimes, Pete. Your approach has a certain sledge-hammer quality to it. I did not mean to be condescending. I don't think the world is all sunshine and unicorns. Without getting into too much detail, I had a REALLY s***ty childhood, and I know a thing or two about the real world. If I come across as being naive about how the real world works, it's only because I've endured enough for one lifetime and prefer to keep it light. I don't always succeed. You know what? There's a social issue for you right there. The damage caused by abusive childhoods. I have a great life now, but it is not because of my upbringing. It is in spite of it. No one should have to work that hard to be happy, especially kids.— March 8, 2010 12:12 p.m.
