I tried to watch Layer Cake and this is what happened
It's a good movie.— April 22, 2013 9:26 p.m.
Darkness and Light in Rwanda
Interesting stuff— April 14, 2013 7:18 p.m.
Don't judge a restaurant by its name
These write ups are a lot better than the diva column.— April 14, 2013 7:18 p.m.
Interview: Robert Forster has risen!
Fun interview. I would give him crap for saying AF is a great director. Training Day was crap! I did love The Black Hole, but I saw it at the theatre when I was 11!!!— March 28, 2013 12:03 a.m.
How much is that actress in the glass booth?
This reminds me so much of how I miss that guy at Sea World...the mime. He always pretended he was in a glass box. It cracked me up every time ;-)— March 26, 2013 11 a.m.
Hollywood 'wiggers'
I'll take that one! Although...Ribisi in that was harder to understand than any person of any race I've ever heard speak (aside from Charles Barkley)— March 25, 2013 10:24 p.m.
Hollywood 'wiggers'
I understand you love Bob Hope, but he really doesn't deserve to be on this list. He's merely doing a Mr. T impression. Nothing about that is wiggeresque. Mr. T did a tough guy act, which wasn't black or white. Certainly he was the first African American to sport a Mohawk as well. Instead, I want to nominate Ed Norton for his role in the movie with Robert De Niro. He plays a prisoner, and De Niro is a prison guard who sleeps with his wife. Can't remember the name of the picture, but it wasn't half bad.— March 25, 2013 3:09 p.m.
Oz the Great and Powerful's cheap carnival magic
I wonder if the studio will say, in the sequel, not to mention any sequels!— March 23, 2013 10:37 a.m.
Marlon Brando: Reflections in a golden sty
It's funny that he knocks Burt Reynolds for things that people could knock him about. And, much like how Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy, and vice versa...Reynolds often called Dom DeLuise a pig...— March 23, 2013 10:36 a.m.
Interview: Mike Tyson
Good interview. Love that he knew the old films, but even back when he was champ (the youngest heavyweight in history, at age 20)...he always knew the history of the sport. I like that in an athlete. Well done, Mr. Marks.— February 27, 2013 4:46 p.m.
