If there are any professional photographers or videographers in the scene, do yourself a favor and just keep your phone in your pocket. Search for the images/video later if you want to show off to your friends you were there.
No one wants to see your potato quality pics/video.

Great Korean in a Tijuana mall
This is good to know. Thank you Gwang-chul Chang! From now on, every Korean restaurant I visit I will let them know that Gimbap is the correct spelling stated by the Global Error Monitoring Staff under the KOCIS (Korean Culture and Information Service) of Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Korean Government. It should be noted that the [wikipedia][1] page for Gimbap has both Gimbap and Kimbap as an acceptable denomination. A great start would be fixing the wikipedia page for it's right nomenclature. Also noted that the restaurant spelled it as "kimbab." Next time I visit I will let Moo Jung know that it should be gimbap. Thanks again, Matthew Suárez [1]: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gimbaphttp://— May 28, 2016 3:39 p.m.

Stuart Caldwell opened soul-food restaurant in Tijuana
You should. I eat there probably two or three times a week and never spend more than $10 (for a full meal and a couple beers). Congrats Stu! It was a great read.— April 6, 2016 11:45 a.m.
A dozen kinds of tasty
Weird that Memo rhymes with Nemo. In Mexico (and Spanish in general) Memo is short for Guillermo and it doesn't sound like Nemo. I was confused as to why Memo would have a bagel shop and not a taco shop...— April 5, 2016 11:06 a.m.
Little Japan in Tijuana
Hey! This is really cool. The owner told me has never been to Japan (and neither have I) though it is a lifelong dream. He is obviously limited to ingredients and knowledge and his target audience is teenagers (so there is some discrepancies). However, it is a change of pace to all the other "Japanese" restaurants that are really fusion California experiments (I have witnessed really wild sushi that has nothing to do with Japan). The most authentic Japanese food I had was in LA in a place called Sugarfish. That place has real sushi with fresh fish, but I was also paying $50+ per dinner. There is a Japanese restaurant near Otaku called Tai-Ko that is supposed to be even more authentic (ran by a Japanese couple). I'll check it out and report back. Thanks for the info!— April 5, 2016 9:33 a.m.
