The tours cost between 30 and 50 dlls depending on the event (they used to cost between 10 an 25 dlls). They include transportation and sometimes food and drinks. El revival del centro en Tijuana

Gracias por los comentarios, todos. Pero, el #3 no lo entendí... Tuve mis pequeños problemas al escribir porque no sabía qué enfoque dar al texto. Sería incongruente decir que todo es lindo por acá, también decir que la escena de moda en el centro me encanta (no soporto algunos bares trendy, por ejemplo, pero bueno, eso ya es cuestion de gusto personal y qué bueno que haya para todos los gustos, que viva la diversidad!), a pesar de eso, la democratización de la cantina me parece fabulosa. Busqué hacer un texto a favor de Tijuana, pero balanceado y congruente. Ya la nota roja, gore, el miedo, la ruina económica local me tenían cansada, si no es que aburrida y agobiada, no quise contribuir con eso. El miedo irá desapareciendo y los de aquí entenderemos que no todo el turismo se atrae con silbatos, curios, medicinas y baile folklórico (o de table)... Yo vivo en Rosarito, en el pasado capital estatal de un cliché turístico que (no sé si por fortuna o por desgracia) ya se acabó. Y sí una pena que el Cigart haya desaparecido, se llevó el peso de 9 años, hubo dos sucursales durante algún tiempo, fuimos la resistencia de los habanos auténticos entre un mar de tabaco "cubano" falsificado, pero, a decir verdad, el luto duró poco, cuando las circunstancias cambian de manera tan radical es preferible esperar mejores tiempos y en el camino contribuir de a poquito, aunque sea, para que las cosas continuen mejorando. Ah, pero eso que dices de que al cruzar la línea todos manejamos más derechito y hasta nos ponemos el cinturón, sonreímos y decimos "hi"; absolutamente cierto (y chistoso, al menos para mí, yo me pongo el cinturón hasta para ir al Oxxo, no vaya a ser). Sin embargo así como nosotros buscamos portarnos bien de aquel lado, con buena parte de los turistas (ahora fugitivos de la Revo) ocurría a la inversa. Saludos L.
