First off, Slick, I want to congratulate you on the brass you carry to put my private words into your latest dribble. I imagine they must have been quite painful thorns in your side for you to write an entire post on the subject. If you think that getting the final word on the matter will enable you to feel better then you’re sadly mistaken. Don’t try to take some high road because I can see that the one you have chosen is paved in the same manure swine bathe in. I see through your motives. Come at me with your five dollar words of artificial kindness, try to yield me away from the inundation you’ve created. Just know that you’ve taken advantage of an outlet that once carried many great stories, poetry, and an overall district of fine people. I believe your intentions are good, but there is no justification, just another poor, dead channel. Alas, we’ve been lost in translation.— January 27, 2013 3:25 p.m.
GONZO: Art Inspired by Hunter S. Thompson
Very cool. I love Hunter S. Thompson's work. Thanks for advertising this. I just may have found something to do on that Tuesday night.— November 3, 2012 9:10 p.m.

Haha Nice! Glad you liked it, Tallsharon. You can't blame me for your mind going in that direction.— July 23, 2012 4:41 p.m.
"Them Nasty Little Bugs"
Very cool. Great book, too.— July 16, 2012 5:24 p.m.
What is happiness?
Why do you have to tell me that?! I will take your wise words anytime, though. Happiness is always a good discussion topic.— July 9, 2012 10:46 a.m.
Betty
Thanks ladies. You two are my favorites--always so positive.— July 8, 2012 11:44 p.m.
What is happiness?
The pursuit of true happiness can be exhausting, especially for an intelligent mind. To quote Hemingway, "Happiness in intelligent people is the rarest thing I know." But we're young, and I'm confident that the discovery isn't too far away. I'm still searching, too.— July 8, 2012 11:40 p.m.
My Missed Fortune
Thanks for the kind words, Nan. You called it!— July 7, 2012 4:47 p.m.
Wednesday is Poets Day/Hemingway's Eyes
I really dig this, nan.— June 27, 2012 9:07 p.m.
Registering to vote should be more convenient
Well said. There isn't anybody worth voting for this year anyway. Good read, though.— June 20, 2012 6:24 p.m.
