Mark Twain speaks again in St. Louis
Yet all Michael Brown had to was follow the officer's law order to stop. But Brown knew he had just committed a strong-arm robbery so he had nothing to lose by attacking the officer.— December 19, 2015 5:28 p.m.
Rooftop solar wins one!
I see the new trillion dollar+ omnibus spending bill being considered in the congress contains amendments continuing the federal solar subsidies. It extends the credit for five more years; 30% for the first three years, and then phasing it out over the final two subsequent ones.— December 16, 2015 11:15 a.m.
Rooftop solar wins one!
Ponzi: No, I was referring to their new PowerWall product. I supplied a link in my first comment above. I am on their waiting list but have not heard a peep from them. My rooftop system currently supplies about 96% of my annual electrical needs, but I am considering a purchase of an electric car now that we've moved into the 2nd and 3rd generation models.— December 16, 2015 11:09 a.m.
Rooftop solar wins one!
Ponzi: Tesla says they'll begin delivery "in late 2015" ... Can't get much later then now (12/16/2016). I'm just wondering if they'll meet their stated delivery goal???— December 16, 2015 8:19 a.m.
Rooftop solar wins one!
Visduh: Tesla wants the excess power generated by rooftop systems to feed its "PowerWall" battery storage system then draw it down after the sun goes down. If you purchase enough of their systems you "theoretically" could go off the SDG&E grid. But it's nowhere close to cost effective at this time. Seems Tesla wants to help electric grid producers with their complaints about balancing their loads by time shifting high productions hours to hours when your panels are not producing electricity. However, I suspect if Tesla's product catches on, electricity producers would find something new grip about to the CPUC. https://www.teslamotors.com/powerwall— December 16, 2015 8:10 a.m.
Court blesses city attorney's email practice
Is this about gov't transparency or personal egos, it's hard to tell.— November 3, 2015 4:35 p.m.
Chainsaw-carrying maniac par for the course
Hopefully, the plaintiff ***and*** appellant, Mr. Griffin, will be held accountable for ALL Court costs. Having our taxes wasted on such frivolous litigation is scary enough.— October 27, 2015 2:55 p.m.
SmartCars parked stupidly?
Just a minor correction to this story which does not change its outcome. The section cited, 22502(a), is part of the California Vehicle Code, not the San Diego Municipal Code as written. As mentioned the vehicle can still be cited for the violation. This section, 22502(a) CVC, also applies to those who park on the "wrong" side of the street (with the exception of one way streets) where the right wheels are more than 18 inches from the curb.— September 8, 2015 3:42 p.m.
SEC kicks Ray Lucia's "Buckets of Money" ploy
What are the ole saying...the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree... And, buyer beware. The Bucket Straegy or Buckets of Money, sounds too similar to me.— September 8, 2015 12:33 p.m.
SEC kicks Ray Lucia's "Buckets of Money" ploy
