U-T print circulation continues downward spiral
So circulation was even worse than you wrote. If only the UT corrected their errors as expeditiously as you.— October 9, 2017 7:07 p.m.
U-T print circulation continues downward spiral
Your headline writer is running out of ideas, just as fast as the UT is losing subscribers. Just look at the previous story titles. Both are sad situations. Hopefully, for their sake, the headline writer isn’t as moribund as the UT.— October 9, 2017 6:35 p.m.
Rumor: NFL wants Chargers to return to San Diego
Don’t appreciate Kimmel’s politics, but that bit on the Chargers was really funny. Especially the very end, very poetic. This UT video on the Eagles game at Stubhub was also telling. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=42f9r0uxljQ— October 7, 2017 2:43 p.m.
Roseville developers' runaround in progress
Geoff: As long as DSD and its employee’s salaries are funded by developer dollars this will never change. Their allegence is to them and not the citizens of San Diego.— October 6, 2017 4:24 p.m.
Lemon Grove councilman sued for free-speech stifling
True, but there is always an archival record - somewhere.— October 6, 2017 12:45 p.m.
Inn like Flynn on Sunset Cliffs
So a quasi-governmental community planning group gets to make a recommendation to ignore laws that have been on the books for years. So it’s true; the Obcean inmates are now running the asylum. You folks are setting a bad precedence. Acts like this can have negative consequences in the future. You really need to reconsider this.— October 6, 2017 12:44 p.m.
Lemon Grove councilman sued for free-speech stifling
Here is the link to Jones’ Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/JerryJonesLemonGrove/ I’ve read through some of it and cannot find any “thinly veiled racist remarks”. Maybe Mr. Bush or his Attorney, Corey Briggs, would enlighten us.— October 6, 2017 8:46 a.m.

Lemon Grove councilman sued for free-speech stifling
Book smart does not equate to common sense. If Bush is correct then he’ll be successful with his litigation. If he’s just offering a biased opinion then he won’t. Nevertheless, public figures such as Jones are not afforded the same protections as private persons. And, I agree, Jones needs thicker skin. The voters will decide his fate. The story isn’t clear about why Bush is a “former consultant”. If Rick Engineering ended his employment over his comments, which reflected negatively on his employer, then Bush may not be the sharpest pencil in the pocket protector. Only time will tell...— October 5, 2017 8:22 p.m.
Lemon Grove councilman sued for free-speech stifling
Just Wondering if Briggs will use this as a teaching moment, rather than just attempting to extract a settlement from another government entity?— October 5, 2017 4:50 p.m.
