Tijuana Uber report
Whether it’s north or south of the boarder, an unregulated business that provides a “service” is always one where you put your life in someone’s else’s hands. Is that what you really want just to save a few bucks!— December 10, 2017 1:12 p.m.
Otay motherlode: pounds of heroin, coke, fentanyl...
S.E.N.T.R.I. another really bad idea by the government. If you choose to go into Mexico you must acknowledge there’s going to to a wait to get back into the United States since the Mexican government refuses to take the illicit drug problem seriously.— December 7, 2017 5:03 p.m.
Shocker! CPUC unanimously thumbs down SDG&E
If you want to vomit, read Sunday's Business Section of the UT. Revisionist history and a shallow self serving interview, Peevey has resurfaces touting a "new" green California book. I love the comment about "secret" plans as this arrogant man professed his innocence over the years. Considering all of the illegal acts perpetrated by Peevey, he must have gonads the size of bowling balls.— December 3, 2017 6 a.m.
Shocker! CPUC unanimously thumbs down SDG&E
Maybe SDG&E should lobby the Govenor to have him declare IT as a disaster area. Between "hurricane force winds" causing wildfires and it's nuclear meltdown steam leaks at SONGS, its management team IS a disaster in progress.— December 1, 2017 1 a.m.
Shocker! CPUC unanimously thumbs down SDG&E
This from the UT story: "The CPUC got it wrong," said Lee Schavrien, the utility's senior vice president and chief regulatory officer. "The 2007 wildfires were a natural disaster fueled by extreme conditions including the worst Santa Ana wind event this region has ever seen, combined with high heat, low humidity and hurricane-force winds." But CPUC commissioner Clifford Rechtschaffen disagreed. "The decision does not hold utilities to a standard of perfection. That's a straw man and that's not what we're doing here," Rechtschaffen said. "The burden of proof is on SDG&E to show they acted as a prudent manager and based on a careful review the decision concludes they did not meet that burden." I love the part about “hurricane force winds”. That needs to be nominated for the 2017 San Diego hyperbole comment of the year!— November 30, 2017 6:51 p.m.
Shocker! CPUC unanimously thumbs down SDG&E
According to the story in today’s UT (Business Section ppl C1&C4 on 11/30), Sempra/SDGE “promises to fight the ruling in court and appeal the Commission’s decision to the Superior Court if it went against their demands. [UT Article ][1] The collusion between the investor owned utilities and the Commission is the ultimate expression of a corrupt system. If Aguirre is correct, the Federal Govt needs to step in and prosecute under RICO statutes. [1]: http://enewspaper.sandiegouniontribune.com/infini…— November 30, 2017 12:44 p.m.
Car won from casino still undelivered
DON: It was Ponzi’s comment I found witty and humorous simultaneously considering the topic of your story. Considering the pejorative “Indian giver” perfectly describes what appears to be a deceitful offer by the casino. Where, through what seems to be a bogus inducement, they want patrons to part with more of their dollars for a chance of winning a very expensive automobile. Yet, when called on it they’ll hide behind their “sovereignty”.— November 24, 2017 1:13 p.m.

Congresswoman claims a Filner groping (years ago)
Pales in a comparison to the acts by former President Bill “Bubba” Clinton and coverups / destruction by Hillary.— November 21, 2017 10:30 a.m.
Congresswoman claims a Filner groping (years ago)
Where there was San Diego smoke, there certainly was D.C. fire, albeit in reverse order. If these allegations had been raised prior to Filner running for office here in San Diego, I suspect many would have been spared his aggressive sexual foibles and the taxpayers would have more money in the treasury. In the meantime, Filner collects generous pensions from our City, San Diego State University and his congressional pension as well. There’s no doubt in my mind he’s preying upon others in the LA area who haven’t an inkling of his personal history toward women.— November 21, 2017 10:26 a.m.
