A Rent Party
You don't sound bitter, just angry and why shouldn't you be. Our state has been living the "spending beyond our means" life for too long and it's finally caught up. Please keep up your efforts to remind us all to give a little and collectively we can make a positive change.— February 13, 2009 7:46 a.m.
Judge for Yourself
Geez Barb, I've never heard of jury nullification! Of course I've little experience with the law, never having run afoul. I did do a little jury duty up in San Luis Obispo several years back, a dog bite case. So I really appreciate the info; all the more reason to have a glass of wine this morning.— December 10, 2008 7:45 a.m.
Make My Gay: Protesting In San Diego
Congrats on your nicely written piece and for your efforts for our freedom. As I drove around SD county, it was interesting to see the differences in protests. Lots of Yes on 8 up in North Co. and more No's in the city of course reflecting the conservation and liberal communities. How many Yes voters have a child who is gay? Who really gives a damn who I marry? I hope you continue to fight for our freedom, thanks.— December 6, 2008 9:24 a.m.
All Boxed Up
I see you're still mired in thinking a natural cork is only good enough for you. Decant your favorite Romantically packaged wine and a Botabox of the same varietal and tell me what your blind folded guests think. Then we'll talk further. Or if you've some statistics of the "Green" worthiness of a bottled and naturally corked wine versus a boxed wine, I am all ears. Convince me. Just Givemewine— December 5, 2008 9:15 p.m.
