but we still have Adams Avenue Bookstore left, they have a great collection of used books as well, especially if you are interested in theology, history and military. I found them a little more expensive though. Lots of rare, hard to find books and the fat cats are pretty cool too:). — October 24, 2009 2:42 p.m.
Time and Space
I love those guys, they are amazing! Great, small local band that one day will be huge, I don't doubt that! Saw them at 710 this summer, they rocked that place!— December 17, 2009 11:45 a.m.
Voluntary Blindness
Love it! So true!— October 29, 2009 5:13 p.m.
I love the smell of used books...

Up, Up and Away...in a silver balloon
Well, that's the way of making money this days. I bet 5$ they will make a show about kids flying in balloons pretty soon here. Look how many super stars for absolutely no reason/talent we have around. You just have to do something really stupid and call the media to see it. Maybe I should try to jump off Coronado bridge but come out with a way of surviving it first and call the media to watch it. I could be a motivational speaker afterwords! Man that movie "Idiocracy" so seams like a real life story...— October 16, 2009 11:53 a.m.
Become OBecian… and failing at it.
If I move to PB I’m pretty sure they will throw rocks at me there:) I was planning on moving to Patagonia but somebody somehow managed to convince me that I won’t make it out there on my bike so I decided that I will stick around for a little longer and get some training done; but since OB doesn’t have any serious hills around, I moved to Normal Heights and I ride up Texas every day. Plus there are 3 used book stores in a 2 miles radius from my house. So I guess I traded the beach and the hippies for muscular legs and used books.— May 10, 2009 10:28 a.m.
Become OBecian… and failing at it.
Well, you know how they say, “you don’t have to be completely over somebody in order to break up with them” and hopefully, if you come back, you will always be taken away by the view. Plus, post break up sex it’s always the best:)— May 8, 2009 10:01 p.m.
