Particularly Rambunctious
It's pretty rad--though they don't tell you that you blow your knees to smithereens and twist your shoulders into mincemeat! I had to quickly disinvolve myself with parkour because I'd be a pretty crumby cyclist without functional knees.— December 14, 2009 8:01 a.m.
Weld Paddy's Mental Web
^Great word that I can't google into relevance. Please explain!— December 14, 2009 7:52 a.m.
Particularly Rambunctious
Parkour (with 'k') and freerunning do be inextricably intertwined. Think of Parkour as a set of moves, and freerunning as putting them into practice. Is it me or is the "Jhon E Cash" maybe related to Jhoyti Bihanga's vegetarian restaucult on Adams Ave? As for slip and slides, they can be extended with a series of tarps. Although, much as the case with the rocks, hitting an unexpectedly dry section of tarpaulin at umpteen-bazillion miles an hour can be nipple-abradingly-shocking.— December 13, 2009 7:50 a.m.
Particularly Rambunctious
I have actually gone freerunning with PKCali in the park on weekends. Got hurt like WHOA and now no longer do it!— December 13, 2009 12:30 a.m.
Requiem for the Vampire
I can fit about fifty cans in my bag and roll around with it all night--just don't expect me to blaze up the hills to swiftly!— December 12, 2009 4:30 p.m.
Succinctly And Not Entirely Unfairly
Real good to have nan up in the heezzy fo' sheezy!— December 11, 2009 3:43 p.m.
Requiem for the Vampire
Well, if I get the job you'll have to come in for a football game sometime and let me hook you up with "Sloppy Joe and Onion Rings" :) Let the master decide for hisself!— December 11, 2009 3:41 p.m.
Requiem for the Vampire
Beautiful anecdote Pete--I'll cherish it forever. Don't you like the idea of tricking a hipster into spending 7 dollars on a little sloppy joe? ;)— December 11, 2009 3:06 p.m.
no excuses
Welcome back, yo!— December 11, 2009 3:05 p.m.
Succinctly And Not Entirely Unfairly
Flagged, bagged, and tagged. Bummer that I went back to sleep this morning!— December 11, 2009 12:46 p.m.
