(NaturalNews) Japanese officials are currently engaging in talks with Russian diplomats about where tens of millions of Japanese refugees might relocate in the very-likely event that the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear facility's Reactor 4 completely collapses. According to a recent report by EUTimes.net, Japanese authorities have indicated that as many as 40 million Japanese people are in "extreme danger" of radiation poisoning, and many eastern cities, including Tokyo, may have to be evacuated in the next few weeks or months to avoid extreme radiation poisoning.

New and Improved Jack In The Box For North Park Moving Forward
Just another example of how easy it is for businesses to get what ever they want even if it is illegal and against the planning code... Residents are powerless against these City enabled Neighborhood Changers: Drive through not allowed --> No Problem Not enough Parking --> No Problem Not enough space --> No Problem Against Neighborhood Zoning --> No Problem Open too Late --> No Problem Lack of Security --> No Problem— May 19, 2012 5:29 p.m.

Utilities, Solar Industry Spar Over "Net Metering"
Ypu have hit the nail on the head... The Utility wants to retai its market share and CONTROL of our Energy production so it can "game" the system for its own profit... Why should "their" energy generated by solar get more money per watt than "our" solar energy for the same watt? If the CPUC allows this to happen then they are only looking out for the Utility and the CPUC should be scrapped by the voters in California ASAP!— May 17, 2012 6:38 a.m.
Fire Danger, Missing Documents at San Onofre
This is more than worrisome for all SoCal residents since the 3/4 Billion dollar SNEAKY overhaul may be something that SCE tries to make US pay for instead of their shareholders that have had years of record profits! Please also read the previous articles on SORE (San Onofre Reactor Emergency) here at the Reader http://www.sandiegoreader.com/search/?q=san+onofre On Huffington Post http://is.gd/9VLNkS Voice of OC mentioned above and other great local online venues like the Patch http://patch.com/A-qftq + Don't forget to find out more about Net Metering, something that will affect how SoCal 'get it Energy, The Utility wants to limit what it has to pay ALL solar panel owners, except itself! http://is.gd/6Q2FRk— May 16, 2012 6:28 p.m.

Alley Art is the next BIG THING in NP, despite what the "Professionals" say... One of the propo
More info from 4/2010: At the NP Cluster Meeting, there was much talk about increasing our "parks and open space" by making our alley's "more walkable". I have for many years promoted this idea, even suggesting that our North Park alleys would also be great places for displaying "AlleyArt", turning them into Alley Art walks displaying metal sculptures and other removable "metal installations". Each piece would have a standard tubular base which would fit into a lockable vertical "receiver" mounted in cement in the ground along the edge of the alley. These art pieces could then be relocated around the City's alley's (and other locations) for an ever changing free public Alley Art Show. Each low cost piece (say $500) would be a "original" and they could be "sponsored" by local residents, businesses and or public donations creating a completely NEW ART collection for the City. This plan would be a great way to add our Alley's to the short list of fun places to walk in and around San Diego, attract new visitors and best of all, it could be done at little cost to the City! Since we are lucky enough to have a PAC here in North Park, I'm going to request at the next PAC meeting, that the PAC provide a small amount of money to create a Demonstration NP Alley Art Project in the alley parallel to Ray St. between North Park Way and Landis St. Hopefully soon, when folks visit North Park, or come to Ray at Night, they will also be able to tour San Diego's 1st. Alley Art project! I'm going to suggest names and or bumper/stickers of: **NP AlleyArt Walk** and **I ♥ AlleyArt**.— May 13, 2012 9:21 a.m.

Utilities, Solar Industry Spar Over "Net Metering"
I do not mean to poo poo getting some money but imagine if your panels 100 watts "generated" the same amount of money (in credit) as a similar 100 watts that Sempra generated from their solar panels or any other device! Why should they rip you off and give the money to their shareholders; especially since they are a PUBLIC UTILITY! WHO ARE THEY REALLY SERVING? Another question is why should Sempra limit the amount of solar energy "WE" can generate; they should take Energy from US before importing it from other states and or less Green generators like Nuclear!— May 12, 2012 7:54 p.m.
