Councilwoman Cole's cop committee picks panned
This is just more cronyism as our elected Leaders all smile to the masses while promoting "Business as usual" in $an Diego.— December 23, 2016 1:55 p.m.

City's pension liability zooms up by $937 million
This is yet another financial nail in the City of $D coffin! Just imagine if the Charger $tadium passed! Time to call out all our elected Officals (both new & old along with the Independent Budget Office since they all "allowed" this to occur! No wonder the City is looking for help with auditing! Voters should demand that no more New Projects money get spent until we have paid our way out of this huge Fiscal hole.— December 22, 2016 2:28 p.m.
See Trump's inauguration for free
Peters is acting like a "Peter" since he is an elected Official and he and his wife are personally very wealthy. The least he should do is to make a great event of it and share the moment with some lucky SD locals and show the rest of the Congress how to Party with your constituents! Come on Peters, "get it up and rise to the occasion".— November 30, 2016 4:45 p.m.
Citizens victors over NFL greed
Don — I agree raising the TOT is just strangling SD's golden goose!— November 13, 2016 12:55 p.m.
Citizens victors over NFL greed
Don - I hope you will do a story on how the City SHOULD spend the billions that all of US saved by not voting for a new $tadium. I say SHOULD because how the City WILL spend the money is going to be a Political crap shoot (no pun intended) as our elected leaders try and make themselves look good instead of making the City of San Diego look better physically and financially!— November 12, 2016 7:41 a.m.
Citizens victors over NFL greed
For the rest of US: per·spi·ca·cious ˌpərspəˈkāSHəs/ adjective having a ready insight into and understanding of things.— November 12, 2016 7:36 a.m.
Citizens victors over NFL greed
Great news after our City election! **We are now Billions of dollars ahead in San Diego!** I hope all those that were supporting the new $tadium spend some time thinking about doing more for US and less for the Big Donors who want to own $D.— November 11, 2016 5:02 p.m.
Wrongly fired by the city
The Procurement Dept. Should have a Citizen oversight Comm. to insure everything is on the up and up instead of being slanted.— November 11, 2016 4:58 p.m.
Is today's election make or break for Union-Tribune?
Count on the UT to reflect ever more of what is good for the 1% and their dreams for California! The SD Reader is the one clear shinning star in a ever blacker night.— November 9, 2016 3:36 p.m.
