MTS, SANDAG announce plans for long-distance bus lines, Regional Transportation Plan critics not impressed
Yet another make work project for all those in planning and development on yet another project that will be outdated before it is even partially built! Case in point, I attended rapid transit meeting for a proposed Mid-City route along El Cajon Blvd. and they were not even planning for a huge increase in ridership by people using mobility scooters (whose price s dropping while their availability is increasing! All these folks getting on and off will take a long time to mount and dismount themselves, which will take the high speed out of the equation. What would make far better sense is building a VERY high speed elevated monorail/above ground "subway", that would be able to really zoom along, above the existing roadway, not yet adding more surface traffic to our highways! If gasoline and diesel fuel prices continue to rise then far lees people will be commuting anywhere and that will increase the number of people that will be working from home instead of driving themselves to work or sitting on a glorified bus next to some stinky street person that spends their day traveling from end to end looking for handouts!— April 19, 2013 12:38 p.m.

Edison pushes for quick approval of plan for June 1 restart at San Onofre
A Most Important Article about why Solar is such a threat to all US Utilities and especially SCE. Edison pushes for quick approval of plan for June 1 restart at San Onofre
Speaking of the great news of increased wind generation, if the CPUC stopped dragging it's Bureaucratic feet by raising the qualification "bar" a huge number of additional ratepayers would qualify for energy upgrades which would help US all use less energy! We all have paid into an Upgrade Account that has a huge number of Millions in it which is just collecting interest because the CPUC is limiting its use, which is also great for Edison because they make more profits on everyone that is not energy efficient!... And speaking about Energy waste, last year the CPUC paid out as much to administer their energy Upgrade Program as they spent for Energy Upgrades, which is shameful!— April 9, 2013 12:24 p.m.

Expect to see many SUBSETS of the UT which will push the UT's GOP line in the future, so that they will not have this "problem" with remaining legal in the future. San Diego now only has the READER for MSM anything relating to Political Correctness Utility Rip Offs and the like, not counting a few TV personalities!— April 5, 2013 12:26 p.m.
UCAN: supposedly, revenue should have gone into different year
Don I Agree, you are THE man! As long as SCE can keep SanO in the rate base they are still getting about 68 million dollars a month from ratepayers (on top of the Billion Dollars + they have already taken from us for these defectively designed replacement steam generators, even though they are not generating anything except profits for their shareholders, that is why they are doing whatever they can to make sure that SanO does not get closed down! Remember that as long as SCE can keep SanO in the rate base they are still getting about 68 million dollars a month from ratepayers (on top of the Billion Dollars + they have already taken from us for these defectively designed replacement steam generators, even though they are not generating anything except profits for their shareholders, that is why they are doing whatever they can to make sure that SanO does not get closed down! Once the decommissioning process begins, they, not ratepayers, will have to start spending their own money unless the CPUC allows them to continue to rape US...— April 5, 2013 7:29 a.m.
