Did interim mayor Todd Gloria have the authority to rescind stop-use order for Jack in the Box?
An Infomercial for JIB comment— September 1, 2013 3:29 p.m.
Did interim mayor Todd Gloria have the authority to rescind stop-use order for Jack in the Box?
Mayor Filner is the only one that has stood up to special (BIG MONEY) interests, now Todd Gloria will take every penny they offer because he loves BIg Business and their donations! Big Development is working overtime trying to take over $an Diego and anyone that thinks differently, is either not paying attention, part of the problem (NIMBY) or is politically naive. There are Billions to be made all at the taxpayers expense, so expect to see many millions being passed out to gain political influence as the City is bought, *lock, stock and barrel.— September 1, 2013 3:06 p.m.
Filner issues a Stop-Use Order against North Park Jack in the Box. Todd Gloria rescinds.
Many will certainly miss this Mayor because of all his efforts to protect the quality of life not only for residents in North Park but all over San Diego. Now if we can only get another Mayor that has not already sold out to big business... **Got Mayor?**— August 30, 2013 4:42 p.m.
Irwin Jacobs Balboa Park tram operation proceeding full speed ahead
Also left unmentioned in the above recap is City Council President Todd Gloria's offer to change City code to get rid of troublesome regulations that allowed SOHO to demand a stop to the project. I welcome Coons and anyone else to run for the Mayors Office, that will consider putting residents before Big Business! **Without them SD will just continue to be sold to the highest bidder!**— August 29, 2013 5:18 p.m.
Decision in Sherman Heights Walmart case could spell trouble for opponents of North Park Jack in the Box
Seems like when the BIG Companies do business with the City, it is always the City's fault when things go wrong, yet when individuals do anything the City is never at fault... I wonder why?— August 29, 2013 3:08 p.m.

San Diego's backcountry fights wind turbines
Thumbs Up! Agreed and I bet many will start to consider relocating there for that reason!— August 27, 2013 4:50 p.m.

The line of candidates hoping to replace Mayor Bob Filner continues to grow
San Diego is in between a rock and a hard place; I believe that there will be so much money pumped into this race that who ever wins will be just a "talking head" for their supporters that will want to "get San Diego Working" (AKA: lots of Big Projects, which will make their supporters BIG money while putting the City back into major debt-AGAIN) **If I ran, my campaign slogan would be:** No More Debt Deals No More Stadiums No More Closed Door Meeting Deals No More Selling San Diego's Future, so the Wealthy can Profit now Solar, Solar and more Solar, I'd push to install so much Solar that San Diego could become: America's Finest Solar City. + I'd reduce my salary by 20% and challenge all City Council Members to do the same!— August 27, 2013 4:38 p.m.
