Spectator sports walloping the arts except in San Diego
Almost half of the population want a tax-cheatin' chump named Trump to be president and leader of the free world. Ain't hat Hillaryarious?— September 30, 2016 11 p.m.

Spectator sports walloping the arts except in San Diego
At long last . . . at long last--have you no sense of punny?— September 30, 2016 9:17 a.m.
Spectator sports walloping the arts except in San Diego
Swell's turgid comments are well-taken. You forgot to mention over-paid "CEO's" that suck the high-brow arts dry. The "symphony" embraced atonal stuff and I was apparently the only grey one booing. The "classics" are classics because they have been *popular.* "Classical" equates to class-stratification and other effete snobbery. In spite of Reveles' best efforts to turn it around. The snobs just don't get it. So now we have a many-coloured flag flying on public property in Hillcrest. That may be part of why "the arts" are so well off here. Well, as well off as they are.— September 28, 2016 9:23 p.m.
San Diego's $2.27 billion pension hole
The Giant Suckin' Sound is becoming more and more humongous all the time. But we'll just keep on dancin' 'cause that's all there is, mah friends . . .— September 17, 2016 7:54 p.m.
A rare win over the state utilities commission
Our rates are still being jacked up to pay for the San Onofre SNAFU.— September 17, 2016 12:22 a.m.
Chargers offer "cheapest ticket" in NFL this year
Buying votes. Also look for some big wins (aka fixing) and the promise of a superbowl if San Diegans vote to have their pockets picked for a new stadium.— September 8, 2016 9:51 p.m.
"The Chargers are cheap and manipulative"
Maybe write a piece on footbull so as to avoid contaminating the "thread?"— September 4, 2016 10:29 p.m.
