Chicago bosses clean out top editors at LA Times
As one who used to write an occasional piece for some of the big national dailies (NYT, LAT, SFC,) and even the SDU/T, I rarely do it anymore because the editorial assistants apparently are interns who can't spel or recognise good English. The Union didn't even send a tear sheet or email acknowledgement, and no payment for last piece they published. Speaking of pandas eating, shooting, and leaving, I believe that people who do not think don't know what to believe, not think. Is the distinction crucial? Is any distinction crucial anymore? We all make misteaks, but as Cicero said, "To stumble twice on the same stone is a proverbial disgrace!"— August 25, 2017 9:22 p.m.

Three men pose as Homeland Security officials
Send these mfrs back whar they cum frum, and stop the inconsistent policy of stopping people with the DNA of the original inhabitants at the "border." After stripping them of all their worldly goods and branding their foreheads.— June 8, 2017 5:40 p.m.
Safe healthcare investment turned out to be shaky student debt
Ok, I'm gonna hold my breath until you write the piece.— June 6, 2017 8:29 p.m.
Safe healthcare investment turned out to be shaky student debt
How about exposing the "Socker-It-to-Em" fraud of empty promises and the political sleight-of-hand that was the crock of dire tears vote that the mayor will veto and squander $6,000,000 of the taxpayer's money for a "special (interest) election" to support a greenwashed scheme that is full of escape clauses, ad nauseam?— June 6, 2017 9:11 a.m.

All the arrests just strengthened their will to resist. Just like "our" drone strikes, daisy-cutters, bunker-busters, MOABs, and snipers recruit "terrorists," not weaken them. If "we" don't stop viewing the Middled-East through $hit-colored glasses, and beating our chests about the superiority of our technology, we will soon live in a "Brave New World." Come to think of it, we are.— May 4, 2017 7:16 a.m.

I should not have added the part about the Reader. I won't spam the management, obviously. Waste of time and pixels. You didn't notice the compliment; presumably you concluded that it was part of the "deception." Besides, I couldn't get to top management if I wanted to; I would be screened out as spam. Watch Turkey cook in its own juice. Mustafa lives in the soul of its people. They are some of the fiercest fighters in the world.— May 2, 2017 9:01 p.m.
