A year behind bars for mortgage loan fraud scam
Some body was watching the Sopranos where they did the exact same thing. Of course Tony and the boys didn't get caught in make believe land. Just got one thing to say, Buahawhawhaw!— September 16, 2013 8:01 p.m.
Masked man threatens suicide on Blue Line trolley
Sometimes in our hurry to get back to our little selfish lives,(me included) we put blinders on when we board the trolley. We sort of have to. Unfortunately, every passenger, every day is subject or witness to some abnormal behavior by the many sick people that also board the trolley. I'm not saying its a big problem but it is an annoyance when all you want to do is get home quietly and suddenly some guy calling himself Eleanor Roosevelt sits right next to you reciting Monty Python. The young man in the story will be a couple of day at County Mental Health probably for further evaluation. If he's okay, then its up to him from there on, right?— September 16, 2013 7:56 a.m.
Anti-war protesters visit Juan Vargas’s Chula Vista office
Oh come on! What's our real interest in Syria? You want to take that stance, then how about the atrocities in Darfur? Why aren't we posturing and blowing hot air there? Because they have nothing the US wants! Take a look at all the war torn countries where worse things are happening. If they have a natural resource we want, then by God, we're there fighting for truth justice and the american way. Otherwise, families are thrown off the land because they refuse to grow the poppy. Women are raped, their breasts cut off and left for dead but somehow survive. Men's arms are whacked off so they won't vote a particular way. Entire families are slaughtered because what? For What? AND WHERE ARE WE AMERICANS THEN? I love my country. Do not misunderstand me. Just take the blinders of convenience off and take a real look at what we're preparing to do. We heard all this before Iraq. Remember? I'M JUST SAYIN'.— September 12, 2013 8:38 a.m.
Anti-war protesters visit Juan Vargas’s Chula Vista office
Double edged sword here people. There is no doubt that sirin gas has been deployed and scores have died. Including the innocent children. We've all seen the smartly edited and obscene images. Heres the cold reality. Whats the goal here? Get Assad out, or simply make sure gas isn't employed anymore? The latest developments are headed that way. But how do we the international community monitor that? Okay, so we drop bombs. What good is that gonna do when all the big heads of power will be deep in underground bunkers? Then WE will be responsible for the deaths of innocents. And don't think that wont be on videos released within minutes. Will our networks broadcast that? Not likely. Wether the press wants to report it or is being compelled not to, Al Qaeda is the rebellion in Syria! So there goes the US playing both sides as usual? No good will come of this, and eventually, boots will be in Syria. Sorry if its not what you want to hear.— September 12, 2013 8:04 a.m.
Arrest warrant issued under seal for Kristin Rossum's Australian lover
We can "leak" the fact that there is a warrant, but "we are unable to discuss it," said their "SPOKESMAN"? AAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH! Is it just me?— September 11, 2013 9:10 a.m.
Arrested on the Amtrak to L.A.
Oh I've got an armfull of comments but, it sort of writes itself doesn't it?— September 8, 2013 9:05 a.m.
Developers chasing city deals cashing in heavily for Faulconer
Hmmmm, in 1999 I think it was, the British had to return control of Hong Kong for a simple lack of foresight. Sorry 'bout your luck at Campland but you gotta go in four years. Wiggle all you want, you shall, no, must be held to the agreement. And as far as Mr. Faulconer, big surprise here. C'mon San Diego voters. Don't allow either this guy or the party jumping transparent dude in office. They won't work for us.— September 6, 2013 11:55 a.m.
Class action suit caused retaliatory suspension, claims class action suit
Agreed, the argument won't fly for the same reasons Visduh cited. Language barrier is a weak argument as there are State, and Federally certified interpreters that can handle that aspect. You of course must realize the tight knit community involved here that is quite alien to us Dog Eat Doggers. Sure, there could be some deceit and misinformation, (from a lawyer?!) to simply remain on the case thus getting people in an uproar creating "class action" lawsuits. Just keep me in the game, baby. However, could be some cronyism going on as well. Why remove the litigator? What did he do? Good point Visduh.— September 5, 2013 9:42 p.m.

Its funny yet profoundly sad when reality hits you in the face for the millionth time and you finally embrace the cold, dark truth that is an epiphany. I mean, I've known this forever, but the sorrowful truth that is that arrested development is everywhere. Oh, I don't think I'm above it. Its me too. At some point in my horribly abused childhood I remained at a certain level of consciousness or maturity. I physically grew up, had experiences, but could only process them with the maturity of a 5 or maybe a 10 yr old. I get this now. I've had to do some work to get to where I am. Don't get me wrong. I am damaged goods. No shining bright endings, just me getting through the day. But at one particular point in my life I was moved, no SHOVED out of my ignorance by the power of my passion. Music. To my damaged yet under constant repair psyche, music is my escape almost my religion. Anyways, in a nutshell, Public Enemy forced me to shut the f#*@% up and to simply listen. It was so simple a concept. Pay attention dummy. So I did and I realized how ignorant I'd been for so long about so much. So guess what. I woke up and as a window prize I learned a little about loving me. A little about how to look any person in the eye confidently and saying, "mornin', how you doin'?" without it meaning anything else 'cept, mornin', how you doin'? I guess thats also part of growing up. So here's what I'm getting at. Ignorant Racists hate themselves. They're afraid of something they really have no realistic concept of. Fear has clouded their reality. I know this. I used to be afraid as well. So how do we get these poor beings in a state of self worth that will awaken self appreciation and that will eventually lead them to be able to say, "I'm okay, you're okay."? Heres the epiphany. Ignorance has always been the norm and not the exception. Do you know how hilarious and profoundly sad that is?— September 5, 2013 9:28 p.m.
Class action suit caused retaliatory suspension, claims class action suit
Actually my flawed gem from SD, If you do a little research, you'll find that ss won't be around when us natural born citizens need it and a little more research will tell you why. Why do attorneys offer their services? Because an attorney is an advocate and a capitalist as well. So let me get this straight. According to you my precious stone, real americans don't fish, don't go to bars, don't have back or drug problems. don't get fibromyalgia or are slow learners right. Only "these people" get medicaid, free phones, or service dogs. You're an optimist? God, I would hate to see you get pessimistic. Oh, this last one was a jewel. Accoring to you this is a generational scam like a part of "their" culture, right? Okay. I think I know this one. I don't think that you know the difference between optimism or hate because all the hate and fear mongering rhetoric that is repeated daily on the Limbaugh or Hedgecock show, you almost repeated verbatim. Face it, you're a racist whos afraid of something you don't even know. You've assimilated some moron's opinion and mistaken it for fact. Of course, you were at the pier fishing, at the bar drinking, at the doctor's office being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia to first hand witness this, right? Maybe I'm just a slow learner? No really!— September 5, 2013 8:16 p.m.
