Hmmm, I've stayed away too long my imaginary readers. My sweet legion of non-existent and faithful fans, I am back! Yes! Yes! Can you feel the electricity? Its in the air around us all as you my wonderful delusion of a reader can tell. Hey, I can hear all of you. Theres room in here for more voices you know. Oh yeah, the only thirty or so people that reside in my big ol' noggin' well, they'd probably like the company in that dark and lonely abandoned amusement park that is my head. I'm sorry, wha?!.....Oh, you're taping now, well ah, .....Mark! Three, two, one,........... Snipe hunting is a lost art form mostly used in densely wooded areas unlike what we have here in this wonderful paradise that is really an engineering marvel carved out of the desert. It can be adapted to say, cornfields, wheat fields and marshes. Well we dont have that here. I was forced to improvise. Not gonna tell you the particulars because it goes down tonite. Its gonna be clear, warm and windy tonite. I can tell you my fanatical followers that I've had to translate and adapt the snipe hunt for the beach. Do not be surprised when you see a pack of three young boys with flashlights, full wetsuit, goggles and yes, flippers(A La Dan Akroyd in Neighbors) running down your beach yelling obscenities in spanish, portuguese and repeating the word,baguette between each sentence. Its maddening, but quite entertaining to see the looks of shock and amused disbelief in people's faces as they witness the chaos and horror. When you see them, I would greatly appreciate it if you begin to chant "Snipe,snipe,snipe,snipe, snipe!....just get the little f#$%^&$s all exited. It'll be an eye opening experience for them in the dissapointment of believing their drunk grandfather who simply insists on being innebriated behind the wheel all the time! Oh,....ahh, you're gonna have to give me that(SIC)....tape you,.(SICK)...end of transmission, ......for .....now......for now,............Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,Haw, Haw, Haw,Haw,,,,baguette.— September 28, 2013 12:06 p.m.

Cathedral Glen, Angeles Glen, Pointer Glen in Escondido – all hit in burglaries
Each first degree burglary receives a strike. Three strikes, 25 to life, right? Six strikes? Will the six strikes all run concurrent or consecutive terms? What a mess, eh? It gets more complicated. I was also under the impression that residential burglaries are more serious than commercial burglaries. Also, is this at trial or a preliminary hearing? Mercy is on the money. These people only get to see the public at their worst. When was the last time that you called dispatch to invite the boys in blue to your party? We only dial 911 to report that Uncle Marty is drunk, nude and running down the street with a baseball bat. And yes Dodd, it was a no-win situation. They aren't judge and jury. More arbriter and peace keeper. You know, the voice of reason in an insane asylum. Sure Capt. there was an attempted extortion. You want to prove and /or litigate that one in a court of law? Repeat DUI driver admitted manslaughter after head-on collision
Normally the offender would serve half the time but in this case the deal is fifteen to life. That means a 15 yr minimum must be served before he's even considered for parole. That means if the parole board isn't satisfied with his progress or lack of it, he could serve alot longer. Heres the rub, the judge can vacate the deal if he or she wants and hit him with the max. Citizen repossesses stolen bike in Ocean Beach
Jay, you are to be commended for your patience and know how. As usual Visduh makes a valid and true point. Had he fought back then he probably would've been hauled off with the homeless. It would've been one thing if someone actually had the bike in their posession. However when it was found in the bushes only the vegetation was in possession. In my uneducated opinion this was handled the only way available. The homeless aren't going any where, I think we all know this. I promise you, the same subjects are still in OB. Its a fine line that is walked when dealing with the homeless as well. Otherwise they would've outlawed homelessness a long time ago. We all know what a bunch of jagoffs the boys in blue can be but you try to deal with all the things these people have to deal with on a daily basis. Especially in OB. Then criticize them as they perform a thankless job. Talk to Faulconer about getting the council to do something about it. Oh yeah, he only cares about the constituents that have the cash to get him to his mayoral aspirations and their agendas. Still we trudge on.— September 19, 2013 11:32 p.m.
