Oregon sex offender arrested at Ramona Halloween celebration
The good thing is that the sick freak is off the streets. They should analyze the candy he dropped in the bags as well. Good thing people were paying attention!— November 1, 2013 6:45 p.m.
High-profile Republicans turn to "Zombies" to defeat Fletcher
It amazes me that "Flip Flop Fletcher" is in the lead. Then again, after the Filner experience, it just goes to show how stupid and easily led the masses are, I've heard them referred to as "sheeple". How appropriate in this case. Clearly a political whore willing to do and or say anything to get into office except what he's asked for like school transcripts and such. As a whole, I guess we'll get what we vote for and in the end, deserve. Amazing.— October 31, 2013 7:06 p.m.
Bob White: pot, booze, Father Joe
The spectacular and deceivingly salacious headline forced me to read about nothing. I'm never going to get those three minutes back. Thanks Matt.— October 23, 2013 8:53 a.m.
City attorney Goldsmith boasted how he worked on Filner ouster for 8 months
Hmmmm, isn't the city attorney voted in by,....oop!,...us? See you at the polls racoon boy. Whomever follows Filner's roadmap, (sans groping and such) from infrastructure to medicinal marijuana gets my vote in the mayoral race. Hey Don, when is the city atty's term up?— October 18, 2013 8:13 a.m.
La Jolla hotel burglar still fighting for new trial
Looks like our boy's gonna get his trial people? Boy did I call that one wrong.— October 16, 2013 8:10 p.m.
La Jolla hotel burglar still fighting for new trial
I should've completed the thought as well. This in no way makes the defendant a free man. He just gets a new trial if he's lucky. So far he hasn't batted too well and, with 11 priors well,...not looking to good. Maybe he'll get lucky. Yeah, and the Chargers are going to beat the white hot Colts!— October 13, 2013 9:22 a.m.
La Jolla hotel burglar still fighting for new trial
As an officer of the court his primary responsibility should be to be 100% forthcoming. In my book he discussed the case as any jury is usually instructed not to,(in his self serving blog) and he lied. He can call it what he wants in lawyer speak but he perjured himself. Hopefully the ninth district court of appeals will also see it that way. If not, well that'll just be another miscarriage of justice to go along with countless others.— October 12, 2013 9:02 a.m.
Cops naysay downtown opening of Phantom Lounge
"3rd highest alcohol-related crime area...", well duh! There are bars and restaurants that serve alcohol downtown. Not just the Asslamp. Oh, and noise issues? YOU LIVE DOWNTOWN! All those suburbian concerns should've been considered,...ahem,...BEFORE YOU MOVED DOWNTOWN! To quote our ESPN guys, "C'mon Man!"— October 11, 2013 8:08 a.m.
Border Patrol agents to remain on duty despite government shutdown
HAH! PHOOOEEY! BULL-PUCKEY, and any thing else you can personally come up with. Where do I start? Hmmm, oh,...thats an easy one. Children are not getting the lunches they count on for a daily meal because of this political disgrace that fully informed politicians are committing in Washington!!! Countless of other federally funded programs that are needed have also been shut down. Here in San Diego there are people being affected today. And they're not even in the military! What amazes me is they keep voting these clowns in and then they fatten their pockets and do this. Heres the real smasher, they'll vote 'em in again come election time. By all means, lets protect our borders, you know? But hey Boehner!,(doesn't matter how you spin it, its pronounced bow-nur) my wife was just sent home today and we can't afford that. Hello?, do you get it? His smug and even flippant demeanor actually more than rub me the wrong way. "I know I can't win but hey, I sure can muck up the process." Meanwhile, as is usual the poorest suffer first. Wake up America! Your vote does count,...so get 'em out! (Ooooh, I gotta copyright that. Done!)— October 2, 2013 6:30 p.m.
Irwin Jacobs' Generous Political
Hokey, Ay bi, quayet.Grift— Gift!— September 30, 2013 12:58 p.m.
