I.B. Pier’s Tin Fish cures Ed’s queasiness
Been going to that pier since I was a teenager living in Otay Mesa. Fishing off of it and "back in the day", we used to jump off it to avoid the break in the mornings. The Tin Fish was added after the pier was renovated from being destroyed in the '80s. God, I love their criss crossed fries! They have come through in a pinch, many times. Breakfast IS better Ed. Should'a stayed.— November 13, 2013 3:51 p.m.
Downtown Partnership denied taxpayer money to fight lawsuit
Man these people have cojones! Mis-manage,(lose,steal,appropriate for pay raises) five and a half million dollars and ask us to pick up the tab after being sued? The question is begging to be asked. How much money do we give the Downtown Business Partership?— November 13, 2013 3:41 p.m.
Lemon Grove boy claims he escaped would-be kidnapper
Can you say "CRY FOR HELP"? Red Flag, whatever. Might want to have someone take a look at his living environment. He is definitely acting out. Then again, could be anything nowadays. Everywhere people are doing some disturbing things. This morning I was watching breaking news in Point Loma where a burglary was foiled but the perp got away on foot. However in the same small parking lot a baby was found alone in a parked vehicle. Doesn't take genius to figure that one out, right? Beam me up Scotty!— November 13, 2013 8:03 a.m.
Reputed meth addicts wreak havoc in Ocean Beach
First of all, they'll lie and stick to their story no matter what. They're a deluded bunch that thinks they're smarter than anyone. Then they will steal, and steal, and steal and when you confront them they will passionately sometimes with tears in their deceptive little eyes, vehemently deny any such thing while the object they stole is sticking out their back pocket. The sad part is that while they are responsible for putting that poison in them, once that drug takes hold all bets are off and they are off to the races. The nicest and most considerate and loyal friend will turn into a monster. They'll want to stop but they can't. Jail, Hospitals, or an air tight casket. Thats where they're headed unless they stop. This drug is killing america from Rhode Island to Hawaii where they call it Ice because its ten times more powerful than what the Hells Angels were making in the '80s. Yes, TWEEKERS SUCK!— November 9, 2013 7:55 a.m.
North Park's F Street adult store property up for grabs
Just can't stop thinking of the cleanup that needs to be done 100 times over 'till I would be satisfied. Sort of....— November 8, 2013 3:34 p.m.
Cops clip deadbeat dad cruising Ocean Beach
"He said some states wont extradite such perpetrators and Missouri is one of them." So I understand that the officer has no other choice than putting wanted felons in jail. Thats his job. The problem is that if we all know Missouri isn't extraditing, the man will be cut loose after San Diego has exhausted all efforts to extradite him home. I think they may have up to 45 days to come and get him. Meanwhile, we pick up the tab for holding him. What a waste of time and money.— November 5, 2013 8:44 a.m.
Labor-backed poll shows Alvarez catching Fletcher
As of this morning numbers, Alvarez just took second.— November 4, 2013 8:14 a.m.
Overtime abuse reported at Border Patrol's San Ysidro office
Actually the Border Patrol has a large station in San Ysidro on Beyer Blvd. You can't miss it. They've got a sign and everything!— November 4, 2013 8:09 a.m.
Embattled Ex-Mayor of El Cajon insists incendiary statements were taken out of context
AAWWW poor Jon, you don't like the first ammendment? I'M JUST SAYIN'! Thats what the post your comments is for. Feel free to dissect all my stuff and then you can pontificate and lend your invaluable opinion as I do mine. You no like? Too bad. As far as getting personal, HAH! You don't know me. I'm Just Sayin'! Of course you won't reply, why would you want to be part of a healthy conversation where two people exchange ideas and if they don't agree, they can agree to disagree. Might be a concept you don't understand. I'M JUST SAYIN'.— November 4, 2013 7:37 a.m.
Embattled Ex-Mayor of El Cajon insists incendiary statements were taken out of context
..."You know, like the Asians" The Asians?.... he can't stop himself! While he's dealing with these suddenly and simultaneously occurring maladies, he might want to talk to a counselor? I'm just sayin'!— November 2, 2013 12:51 p.m.
