This morning, Wednesday September 16, Julie Harper reportedly surprised her attorney by phoning him about 8:30 a.m. to "call in sick," this information from a well-placed source. Here are a couple diagrams presented as evidence during the first trial. The judge who heard evidence at the preliminary hearing plainly declared that the deceased man had been shot from behind. Doshay allegedly used bunny story on 5-year-old

Honorable judge K. Michael Kirkman did not order news media to obscure the face of the defendant during the hearing yesterday. Probably this is because news media already have plenty of photos of the face of Jack Doshay; some of these other photos are from wanted flyers put out by the San Diego County Sheriff while Doshay was a fugitive; other photos are obtained while waiting for the out-on-bail defendant outside the courthouse. http://www.sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2015/s…

A questionnaire to be filled out by potential jurors has been agreed upon by all attorneys and the judge, Honorable K. Michael Kirkman. Hundreds of potential jurors will be asked to answer the questionnaire on Thursday, September 3rd. And then the first batch of pre-screened jurors will be called into San Diego's North County Superior Courthouse, located in Vista California, on Tuesday, Sept. 8th. Roni met predator on Hot or Not

Sentencing for Pedro Luis Rodriguez has been delayed from the August 21 date, according to prosecutor Matt Greco, because the convicted felon intends to file paperwork requesting a new trial. Meanwhile, a second jury trial for Rodriguez continues on course. “His second case is set to begin on September 15,” Greco said. “He is being tried with his mother Gloria Rodriguez.” Pedro Luis Rodriguez, 43, and his mother Gloria Jane Rodriguez, 65, are accused of conspiracy to obstruct justice, conspiracy to violate criminal protective orders, conspiracy to fraudulently obtain unemployement benefits, forgery, and thirty counts of violating a criminal protective order, the deputy district attorney said. http://www.sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2015/a…

Notorious drug house goes up in flames

Court records show that in 2011, Shelby Ann Black was charged with stolen vehicle and under the influence of meth and possession of meth and possession of hypodermic syringe. She admitted stealing the vehicle (reportedly from her mother) and the under-influence charge; she got 3 years probation in August 2011. Her case was transferred from San Diego County to Riverside County in May 2012; at that time Shelby Ann Black listed an address on Coyote Hill Court in Murrieta as her residence.

Notorious drug house goes up in flames

The woman who died in the house was named Shelby Ann Black, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's website. Her cause of death was "third and fourth degree thermal burns and inhalation of products of combustion," according to the Medical Examiner, and the manner of death was declared to be "accident."
