Corruption cut from Sweetwater schools?
Annie McCann has shown no leadership in the past 4 years and doubt if you will see him give birth to any leadership at this late date. He will most likely loose the June primary and then will be run out of Sweetwater in November. If nothing else the corruption case has exposed McCann for the do nothing politician he is. Hard to believe any party would endorse such a failure.— April 28, 2014 5:38 p.m.

School officials Gandara and Sandoval plead guilty
To SpecialEd, the fact that I am proud of my community does not mean I am against those of other races. True the three I named in the other article are white, but I have no problem with their color, what I have a problem with is their failures. Where I sit at the table is my business.— April 6, 2014 7:15 a.m.
School officials Gandara and Sandoval plead guilty
Local Control Funding Formula and Local Control Accountability Plan, two areas those interested might want to look into.— April 5, 2014 7:38 a.m.
Ed talks out of school
Much is being done to educate the Hispanic community on the topics. Oskidoll you make reference to the upcoming trial for Cartmill and McCann's bid for the city council. Our community is getting more familiar with both and all they have not accomplished. Ed Brand has never been a favorite with us.— March 31, 2014 2:31 p.m.
Quinones, Ricasa, Cartmill, Cabello weigh pleas vs. fighting
Pearl should show up and vote on all of the slimy deals that Brand Cartmill and Mc Cann have lined up. Does she finally realize that they were never her friends and cared little? Brand often bragged about having the DA on speed dial wonder how many times he used that line to sell Pearl out.— March 21, 2014 2:14 p.m.
Sweetwater district teachers vote on strike
Pearl's vote on the new district office building will show her true nature. If she votes for it we will know she does not care. Our National City community is depending on her to do what is right for our children. We need the money to fix up the schools not for new offices for district employees in Eastlake. Pearl lives amongst us and we need her vote for what is best for us.— March 16, 2014 3:36 p.m.
Sweetwater district meeting marked by chaos
The issues with Bobby B. are well known. This is not the first time he has been the subject of accusations. Previous issues were reported to Susie Mitchell and ignored.— February 20, 2014 7:11 a.m.
County board of education occupies Sweetwater
Oskidoll comments on the relationship of Brand and Laura D. There is another friendship that is as big of a concern Russo and Laura D.— February 9, 2014 4:52 p.m.
Castle Park Middle School principal punches back!!
There is a reason Promise Neighborhoods, Alliant, and the Charter Schools continue to draw negative press. Read past articles. The devils in the details.— February 6, 2014 2:40 p.m.
