Strange drinking at D'O Thai

I'm no expert in Thai likker, except for some terrible memories linked to Mekhong whiskey. (Which I kept coming back to just because it was so...Thai. And I pretty much love anything Thai.) Best thing to cleanse it out has always been a searingly-spicy-hot hotpot (as with your Tom Kha) of Tom Yam Kung, the lemongrassy soup (no coconut milk) with shrimp and peppers galore. It's the pleasure of pain, and you come out (if they really give it heat) reborn a fire breathing dragon. Talking of fire breathing, not sure what Vampire's beef is here.

Grub of the gods at 94th Aero Squadron

Hey Ken: They keep the place so much better than some places you see with a few artifacts but, like, half-hearted, just a gimmick. I just love the atmosphere. Specially the ducks. Man, how I'd love to have my own plane and fly in for Sunday brunch. Meanwhile how can you beat the HH buffet, free?

Babbo's Bar & Grille, Uptown: Back from the brink?

It certainly makes sense to get a restaurant like Babbo's up and going again ASAP, to minimize the loss of income from the property, if nothing else. Babbo's really crossed the line from eatery to community asset. That should be recognized.
