"Lady Catarina" Goes to Trial Tomorrow
If I may "speak" for the Pupster, this is how he explained it to me: The key to posting hyperlinks; Period space link space space period (. www.link.com .) And it's worked every time.— September 21, 2011 2:50 p.m.
Romney Extends Public Review Process for Mansion Expansion
For me, the boneheadedness stems from proposing a "3,668 square-foot basement" in LA JOLLA!!!! Apparently Mitt (who names their kid Mitt??) is homesick for Michigan or Massachusetts?— September 9, 2011 1:24 p.m.
Yippee..Captcha's Back and We Can Comment Again
Perhaps "captcha" should be renamed "gotcha"?— September 3, 2011 10:05 p.m.
Don't Judge a Restaurant by Its Cover
You should have been there before the current ownership. Decades ago, it was on the other side of the liquor store that abuts the western edge of the parking lot (main reason they moved was for more parking), directly on Washington, not set back. Not that there's anything at all wrong with the current fare, but if you can imagine, it was even better back then. Still a favorite haunt.— August 30, 2011 2:26 p.m.
Chula Vista mom chose homeschooling to “force” herself to spend more time with her children
Maybe it's her modus operand"us"?— August 27, 2011 2:01 p.m.
New Calif. redevelopment law could stop Chargers stadium
Peter King had some stadium-related comments in his weekly Sports Illustrated column yesterday. I'm surprised at his "city fathers" statement, though. He's usually quite well-informed. Sixth item down the page: . http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/pet… .— August 23, 2011 9:41 a.m.
New Calif. redevelopment law could stop Chargers stadium
I wonder how many of the "Damn the cost, just BUILD it!" crowd owns the exact opposite view when the subject is government spending. I'm guessing the number is substantial.— August 20, 2011 10:36 a.m.
New Calif. redevelopment law could stop Chargers stadium
Next you'll be telling us that the 2003 Super Bowl in San Diego had a $367 million impact on the local economy. Oh, wait, that's the NFL's claim.— August 19, 2011 1:59 p.m.
New Calif. redevelopment law could stop Chargers stadium

Will Southern Cal Newspapers Combine?
Cryptic, si. Spitball, no. It's a slider. And the arcane posts are due primarily to the 12 hour per day nature of my work, staring at and fiddling with 2 pc's all day, while fielding 150-200 calls from clients. At least it's spent in the idyllic confines of my casa, comforted by pets and females. Now if I could just find me one a' them newfangled standing desks.....— August 17, 2011 9:48 a.m.
