UT, Orange County Register Will Join Forces, Says Lynch
Wow, used to play football on your turf. Your crew was always one of our (Holy Family) tougher opponents. I think the Segawa brothers were the standouts at the time, and it seemed that yours was a close-knit group. And I always admired the back gardens at OLP. Visited them quite often during the mixers. Hey, isn't that where JFK said he developed his tastes, too? In Choate?— May 14, 2012 12:15 p.m.
Build a stadium and Chargers will stay? Nope.
The tip-off for me is when a poster employs the phrase (you and...) "your ilk", as contained in the initial post in this thread. Them's fightin' words!— May 3, 2012 4:59 a.m.

Could this be the initial salvo of the much-anticipated Lynch mob?. I see michael27 coincidentally registered just today, although the verbiage in the posts indicate that he/she is an avid follower.— May 2, 2012 1:43 p.m.

U-T Saw Ryan Leaf as a Savior
LA supports two baseball teams? Given the population of the two counties, Orange and Los Angeles, I think one would be hard-pressed to make a case for either county's denizens demonstrating overt allegiance to one team over the other. We are talking American vs National League here. I would posit that the majority of Angels fans reside in Orange County, and accordingly, the bulk of Dodger attendees are from the metropolitan LA area, thereby negating the claim that LA supports 2 pro baseball teams.— April 24, 2012 2:40 p.m.

Thank you for this, RWA. Perhaps my post can help lend some perspective: Not all posters/readers are able to visit this site every day. Indeed, I often am away for 5 or 6 days due to my occupational commitments. I work 12 hours per weekday in a high pressure environment and after toiling on 2 pc's simultaneously and speaking with hundreds of my clients, I often am either too busy or disinclined to spend more time in front of a monitor. Therefore, when I do find an interesting blog (often these are longer-running pieces), it is extremely helpful to be able to view all posts from the first to the latest, if for no other reason than to hopefully be capable of adding a thought that is germane to the overall discussion, given the twists and turns associated with a "popular" piece. Not to mention the catching-up aspect. Plus, it (the entire piece, replete with comments) generally makes for invigorating reading. This is especially helpful in the Bauder Blogs. I'm thinking that I am not the sole poster who darts in and out or is away for a period of time. Thank you.— April 9, 2012 4:25 a.m.
