Bersin Unconvincing in Describing His Self-Confessed Goofs
Gosh, dya think Obama *gasp* made a mistake????— May 13, 2010 5:12 p.m.
Buttinsky?
Not sure imposing another regulation on business owners is the answer, also, isn't the law now that you can't smoke within 30 feet of a public establishement? Are business owners going to be responsible for ashtrays that far away? I don't see the City footing the bill for public ashtrays. Not an easy solution to this issue that I can see.— May 13, 2010 5:07 p.m.

Okay, have decided to use this to respond to my fave soap opera thread.: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plWnm7UpsXk— May 13, 2010 4:25 p.m.

Bersin Unconvincing in Describing His Self-Confessed Goofs
No kidding, SurfPuppy. Not only should Bersin be ousted from his position, he should be held to account in a court of law for these crimes.— May 13, 2010 2:49 p.m.
One-Man Show
Thanks for that further informative post, monaghan.— May 13, 2010 1:41 p.m.
Buttinsky?
Interesting article. I must say I sympathize with Mr. Vinole, but he does happen to live in an area that has a pretty active club scene on weekends so a lot of cig butts are to be expected.— May 13, 2010 1:39 p.m.
Just the Facts
Thanks, thacerro, for your excellent reply, and thanks to Dorian who amazes me by his excellent coverage of so many issues all over San Diego County, unlike another stringer who seems to only care and post about drunks and drinking in a certain little drinker's locale. I find that stringer's, um, stories merely amusing, while your articles are outstanding, well-written, informative, accurate, timely, fairly objective and yet focused into the core issues. Congratulations on your continued good work.— May 13, 2010 1:03 p.m.
One-Man Show
Hey, Dorian, thanks for another great and informative article. I like Whitburn based on what this article tells me, of course, I would have to know more, but your article got me interested and so I will definitely be checking him out, even though I am not in his district. As to the Hillcrest Town Council, they did a poor job organizing the forum if only one candidate showed up. These deals take a lot of work but if done properly, all the candidates will be there. On the other hand, if only thirty people showed up, either the residents are apathetic, or have already made up their mind, in which case maybe that's why the candidates didn't bother themselves. BTW, depending on what time the forum was held, Juan del Rio was at the School Board meeting that evening, I heard him speaking on the Barrera Resolution.— May 13, 2010 12:40 p.m.
Those Winter Sundays
Beautiful piece. I had never heard of this poet, or read his work, that I recall. Thanks, I will have to look him up.— May 13, 2010 7:07 a.m.
