At The 99
They have very nice picture frames there for 99 cents, I got some pretty little glass ones and some jeweled silver ones that looked like they came from a boutique store. Hair stuff is really nice, they have pretty clips and as MsG says, you can buy a bundle of hair barrettes or bands for 99 cents. At the holidays, they always have something new and interesting. And after the holiday the prices are even better. The little plants are a real deal, too, and they sell clay pots and soil, each for 99 cents, you can do a whole patio of pots for that price. Yesterday, I bought a little plastic container of blackberries, a huge bag of green grapes, a dozen large eggs, a bag of Dole salad greens, a ten lb. bag of potatoes, and two large avocados in a net bag -- six bucks. Fresh and cheap, can't beat that.— May 23, 2010 3:34 p.m.

The Doctor Is In
It's too bad Dr. Peanut was on while I was doing email and playing Scrabble, otherwise I would have asked him the following question: Dr. Peanut, where do all the missing socks go?— May 23, 2010 1:51 p.m.

Thanks, MsG, I do try! :) They have great stuff at the 99, my gran loves to go there and look at every little thing. When I feel like wasting hours, I will take her there, she spends a mint on all the little googahs -- fifty bucks the last time we went! :)— May 23, 2010 1:32 p.m.
Tundra # 19
Looking forward to your next post, Quilly. Am going to miss reading about Tundra's adventures, though. Your post made me think a lot about the great cats I have lost. I miss them all. Just recently lost my Templeton. Loved that little guy. Mr. Brown, lost him early this year. And Chamuco about two years ago now. Bless their paws in heaven.— May 23, 2010 12:53 p.m.

Thanks, AG, Bad Fish needs a rest, thought I would bring out the Good Fish! LOL! :)) Love to everybody on a good Sunday Morning! As to the Dollar Tree, geez, I keep hearing about that store, but haven't seen one around here. 99 does have some beautiful glassware, and they often have beautiful dishes. I got some beautiful silk toss pillow covers, the colors were stunning and they were embroidered with sequins. I get TP from there, too, if I can't find the jumbo packs on sale elsewhere, and garbage bags, all plastic bags, they have the Brawny brand which is very good. You must enlighten me on the movie contraband!! All they have here for 99 cents is the dud movies and TV reruns of dud shows!!— May 23, 2010 12:39 p.m.
