Proposition D: How to Buy an Election
Response to post #48: The difference between SEDC and CCDC is that SEDC got caught. Best, Don Bauder By dbauder 9:30 p.m., Jun 1, 2010 Don't you mean their chief executives were caught? Do you believe that the entire organization is corrupt? SEDC claims to have changed their culture, acknowledges mistakes were made. Do you think that's just lip service, or have they actually changed in their self-interest? My understanding is the current interim President, Trotier, won't get hired because he clashes too often with the City. There are people at SEDC who are progressive.— June 2, 2010 4:14 p.m.
Penne Pasta With Sweet italian Turkey Sausage...Recepie From The Last Thread

On The Last Week Of Call-Ins, USDC Gave To Me:
I will pray for you, Robbie, and I am sure everything will be fine. It sounds like you made a meticulous plan down to the last detail, that shows good clear thinking. I might have told you to bring plenty of quarters for the snack machines, even if you brought your own lunch, you never know when you'll see something that tempts you in the glass case. :) And I don't know how the Feds are set up but in the County courthouse, you can bring in your laptop and set up, they have free Wi-Fi so you can surf the Net, write, post, while you wait to be called. This thread reminds me that Adam has not checked in yet!!! Still waiting to hear about his time on jury service!!!— June 2, 2010 4:51 a.m.

BTW, I've bought both a Mexico teeshirt and an England teeshirt. Should perhaps have bought Spain. ;)— June 1, 2010 11:37 a.m.

Aaaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!!!!! ADMIN: Please please please change Don's thread avatar from a grey shadow to that pleasant looking fellow whose face beams upon us from the comments page. That way we can all sleep a little easier in our beds tonight. :)— June 1, 2010 12:09 a.m.
Proposition D: How to Buy an Election
Or maybe they just aren't as paranoid. ;) By the way, my understanding is the Redevelopment Corporations are corporations, not agencies. Only the City Council is a Redevelopment Agency.— June 1, 2010 12:03 a.m.
The Restoration of Faith or Something Like It
Wow, this slipped by without my noticing it, must have been bounced from the home page before anyone could see it or comment. Beautiful picture, MsG. The situation with BP is beyond disastrous. And yet people go on driving their SUVs like there's no tomorrow. Guess what, there really may not be a tomorrow, the way things are going.— May 31, 2010 10:09 p.m.
