Two Weeks in June
Yep, that's about the size of it.— June 3, 2010 8:41 p.m.
Bad Owner
That pitbull didn't lick that puppy to death.— June 3, 2010 7:41 p.m.
...missing you...
mentaltwist, I hope you know that this is going to end badly. Pls take steps so that it doesn't get to that point.— June 3, 2010 5:55 p.m.
Bad Owner
I would definitely report it. Don't try to decide on your own whether the dog is dangerous. Let the proper authorities make the call as to what to do.— June 3, 2010 5:52 p.m.
Oh, Sheet!
The other day I was on the I-5 North, behind a truck loaded with these huge metal tubes, maybe four feet in diameter, about ten feet long, stacked up and fastened down, apparently not too well because suddenly one of the tubes came flying off and straight at me -- I glanced to the left, braked and swerved all at once -- I knew I was dead if that tube came back and broke through my windshield. Fortunately, the tube crumpled when it hit the ground, and lay there, and I was able to get around it. Happened so fast, there wasn't enough time for my life to flash before my eyes. :) The truck driver was pulling along side the road last I saw him.— June 3, 2010 1:31 p.m.
Gillespie, I Have to Return
Wow, this is the kind of inside story I love to read! Thanks, great reporting!— June 3, 2010 11:25 a.m.
Teach-cha-ching!
Well, that's very interesting, Dorian, thank you. I recall an article here where a woman was kicked off a school governance team because she insisted those student fees were illegal. I'm glad to see the school district agreed with her, and I hope she is reinstated and that she is given an apology. Won't hold my breath.— June 2, 2010 10:44 p.m.
