Dig a Hole: Ernest Borgnine
Rest in peace to Marty, McHale, Barney Yale, Boris Vaslov, Rogo, Shack, Cabbie, and Mermaid Man. Thank you for giving us the secret to old age courtesy of Fox News (it's only great contribution to date): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I_PeLNzxNQ— July 10, 2012 3:06 p.m.
Dig a Hole: Ernest Borgnine
Borgnine sat down with Irv Kupcinet, Chicago newspaper columnist and TV commentator, and wound up with snot on his pants: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUucV-s6Og0— July 10, 2012 3:01 p.m.
Dig a Hole: Ernest Borgnine
My first remembrances of Ernie was in "The Poseidon Adventure" ("You! Preacher!"). Even as a kid, I always tried to figure out how he got Stella Stevens as a wife. I never was a fan of "Navy", but do a YouTube search for outtakes from the show - they're more funny than any of the episodes combined: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8E8trKZGbE— July 10, 2012 2:59 p.m.
Happy Fourth from Katy Perry!
It's hotter here in Fort Wayne, IN than in San Diego right now - global warming, my foot! At least you folk in SD know how to put on a fireworks show! Happy Independence Day! http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2012/jul/0…— July 4, 2012 11:21 p.m.

Review: Pink Ribbons, Inc. (And Alfred Hitchcock in Tactic)
Shatner worked with Hitch? Ohhh, SPOOOOOCKKKKKK!!! This is the new Holy Grail - we need to find this; the perfect YouTube video awaiting snarky comments, mentions on local radio morning shows, and historical/hysterical review. http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2012/jun/2…— June 21, 2012 1:32 p.m.
Brave: Why I'm Worried
My kids are begging me to take them to this movie and I've had the same feelings Matt. One for the list: commercials utilizing the voice of Craig Ferguson. Check! http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2012/jun/1… http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2012/jun/1…— June 19, 2012 4:18 p.m.
Caption This: The Lone Ranger
Marcy, if you're a true fan, you could probably answer this. But ask the average moviegoer the following questions: 1.) Name a Depp movie not directed by Verbinski or Burton. 2.) What was the last role Depp played a character that wasn't based on a historical person or required strange character traits and/or garish make-up? Chances are they won't be able to name "The Rum Diary" or "The Tourist" - they'll blurt out Jack Sparrow or a Tim Burton concoction. His signature roles in those movies are sadly blocking out anything else he's done in his career. And if they could name a movie like that, they'd probably say "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?" or "Nick Of Time" or "Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas" - movies Depp did about 10-15 years ago. Do we really need a "Pirates of Caribbean 5" or another Burton/Depp movie which is more of the same? Depp fans will pay to see essentially the same films over and over and over. You get what you pay for. That's sad.— June 19, 2012 10:02 a.m.
