San Diego checks on City Farmers’ recycling practices.
I would stop doing business with waste companies that rat out their customers without a warrant. I'm with Pen and Teller, recycling is "bullshit". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rExEVZlQia4— September 3, 2014 5:50 p.m.
PG&E to pony up big for San Bruno explosion
I have a friend who was an arborist for PG&E until he found a batter job recently. One job after this disaster was to implement a zero-vegetation policy over underground gas lines, much to the dismay of property owners, and I understand they even removed some building that were over the lines.— September 2, 2014 8:41 p.m.
Thanks, mule
Thanks for being online. I'm P.B. born, left in 88, and this is my link to what is going on at home. Getting Don B after he left the evil empire was a real coup.— September 2, 2014 10:16 a.m.
Poll: San Diegans don't want to subsidize stadium
That's why they will probably do something sneaky, like when they expanded the Murph Stadium seating. Pro sports teams should pay for using public facilities, not just for naming rights. What would a fair rent be? If they want to build their own stadiums, let them.— September 2, 2014 10:14 a.m.
Thanks, mule
Like Mono, we in Calaveras have a strong search and rescue squad, mostly volunteers and thinly supported through private donations.. They get a real workout with unprepared flatlanders. You guys have to have lifeguards, this is what we have to do.— August 31, 2014 8:26 p.m.
Warning and message from deportees
These humans were not "playing by the rules" when they illegally snuck in. Anything that gets them back across the border should be fair game.— August 31, 2014 11:28 a.m.
Audit notes sex incidents at downtown lockup
Don't do the crime of you don't enjoy the time. I think many career criminals are in the closet.— August 26, 2014 9:44 p.m.
Earthquake '14
Here 100 miles East of Napa in the Sierras, some felt it. As a native, but ex-San Diegan, I don't notice anything under 4.0. Ho hum.— August 24, 2014 3:05 p.m.
Steve-O confesses to pranking jackass SeaWorld
Why is it fair game to attack Sea World like this, and with airport signs, when if you did it to Walmart or Fry's you would have lawsuits filed? I like SteveO, but picking on a legal business entity because you don't feel good about it is BS. If you have a problem with SW, don't be a punk, go to court.— August 24, 2014 3:01 p.m.
Fare enough?
I guess knives are allowed, but their policy does not allow firarms, even for people who have permits to carry concealed. Good thing the "rule" is not legally binding.— August 21, 2014 10:19 a.m.
