La Jolla Parkway road rage and frustration
They should sell those houses they bought next to the highway, and buy something near the airport or Miramar so they can complain about the aircraft.— November 15, 2017 1:15 p.m.
Drones with frickin' lasers
I, for one, welcome our new drone overlords— November 15, 2017 1:06 p.m.
What SDPD narcs learned about weed in Colorado
They could have spent a lot less visiting with the Sheriff of Calaveras County, and he could have explained why he encourages good citizens to get a concealed carry permit.— November 2, 2017 1:16 p.m.
Organ grinders show up in Tijuana
If we thought we could do it without being robbed, this would be fun to take down there. https://youtu.be/j4gpHFPu0OM— November 1, 2017 10:25 a.m.
Read before rolling into Baja
As if I needed a reason to avoid spending money in Mexico,,— October 20, 2017 9:18 a.m.
Golden Rule crashes Fleet Week, peacefully
It's a sure bet some of those sailors were holding fully automatic rifles. Educate yourself and save the "semi" for anti gun panic stories.— October 16, 2017 11:04 a.m.
Panhandlers pushed back in El Cajon
The tweakerette roadshow is on, on Balboa and Clairemont drives in Kearney Messa. You would think the City would want to avoid the liability of allowing people to spend the day on the center divider, but San Diego has plenty of money for settlements, right?— October 13, 2017 1:20 p.m.
The excuses for loud motorcycles
No, Bfumeck, it's a lame excuse. The Hurt Report, nor any other legitimate motorcycle safety research has ever correlated loud pipes to a reduction in accidents. If "loud pipes save lives", why dont they point them to the front?— September 30, 2017 4:56 p.m.
Drones over San Carlos
I live in the Sierras, and have a professional quality drone that takes very high quality photos and video. I use non-commercially it to take great videos of the natural world and eventssuch as car shows etc., but also to help my neighbors view their properties, and monitor the forest for beetle kill. Others are using them to shoot video of real estate, and I would not be surprised if it is done in San Diego. Anything viewable from an aircraft is fair game, so dont get paranoid over drones in a world where Facebook is selling your detailed personal data. Dont let a few peepers ruin a hobby and an industry. Like guns, it is the intent of the operator that controls the device.— September 29, 2017 8:57 p.m.
The excuses for loud motorcycles
You missed it entirely. I have ridden for over 40 years, been leader of the pack with 3 piece patch on loud American steel, but prefer to ride alone on a quiet Honda. It's about needing attention. "Look, mom, look look look at me!. Watch the "F word" episode of South Park. Matt and Trey got it right.— September 27, 2017 12:51 p.m.
