Michael T. Pines Files Another Suit
The judge probably tossed out the first lawsuit so Pines refiled the lawsuit a second time to correct the defects in the first filing.— February 17, 2012 7:15 p.m.
Planner Loses Certification But Keeps Using It
As of today Batstone is still using the CFP mark on his LinkedIn resume and still claims to be a CFP. He is also listed as a CFP on dozens of websites. He should remove any reference to CFP on his resume without delay, and remove the CFP mark on every website where his name is listed. If he continues to misrepresent himself as a CFP, the Board could sue him and he could face additional sanctions from FINRA.— February 14, 2012 10:30 p.m.
Mayor Sanders Shows Support For Bonnie Dumanis In YouTube Video
Time has proven Bob Filner to be an honest man who works hard for his electorate. He should be the next mayor. He's earned it.— February 8, 2012 10:57 p.m.
Mayor Sanders Shows Support For Bonnie Dumanis In YouTube Video
Bonnie probably has enough on Sanders to put him away for 20 years. Sanders is well advised to support Bonnie even if she has no chance of winning. Bonnie could turn on Jerry like a junkyard dog and indict him.— February 8, 2012 10:54 p.m.
Leashed Rottweiler Chomps Man and His Dog in Clairemont
The victim won't get much money in a lawsuit unless he was bit on the face and has scars. He could also make out fairly well if the bites caused nerve damage.— February 7, 2012 9:24 p.m.
Leashed Rottweiler Chomps Man and His Dog in Clairemont
The owner of the Rottweiler should have put a muzzle on the dog before taking him for a walk. Dogs tolerate muzzles fairly well.— February 7, 2012 9:23 p.m.
Lawyer for Duke's Wife Disbarred
Fletcher appears to have structured his life to run for political office since he was in high school. He turned his back on his religion and took his college degree at a Baptist college possibly because he wanted to appeal to evangelical voters. He appears to have enlisted in the Marines solely because he wanted a military background to boost his political career. I'm tired of hearing about Fletcher's service in Iraq. I dismiss his military service as a political stunt. DeMaio is no better. DeMaio is a cornfed carpetbagger from Dubuque Iowa. His institute went bankrupt a couple years after he sold it. His claim to be a successful business owner is laughable. His claim of being a government efficiency expert is also puffery. He knows nothing about running businesses or governments. DeMaio is a BS artist.— February 6, 2012 11 p.m.
Buyouts Didn’t Help U-T and Petco
In the late 1980s GM took the Buick franchise from Peck due to low sales and transferred it to Marvin K. Brown.— February 4, 2012 4:44 p.m.
Emails Show Snapdragon Deal Left Key Financial Official in the Dark
Sanders lost 100 pounds. Rana was forced to cut him off until he shed some lard. http://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/health/Mayor-Sand…— February 3, 2012 7:02 p.m.
Steigerwalt Responds to Bar Charges
The Bar's actions fall far short of what is required. A receiver should be appointed to conduct an audit to determine where the money went. Every penny should be accounted for. It is not clear whether the firm collapsed from bad management, or whether the monies were used improperly. If Steigerwalt wants to salvage his career and reputation, he needs to come clean and open his records to inspection and make a public accounting of where the money went. The fact that the firm has not filed bankruptcy makes it appear that Steigerwalt has something to hide.— February 3, 2012 1:27 p.m.
