neighborhoods/alpine -- Alpine
**Alpine Has A New Resident !** A single Mother of one just moved in to a undisclosed location in Alpine. The Mother dinosaur and baby wish to keep there address private due to many churches in Alpine not receptive to the single mother lifestyle and also due to the large amount of firearms in homes throughout Alpine looking for any target. Attached is photo as they were unpacking Saturday afternoon July 13. **Welcome to Alpine !** http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2013/jul/1…— July 13, 2013 10:26 p.m.
neighborhoods/san-carlos -- San Carlos
50 years of good neighbors. Western end of Jackie Dr at Coleshill Dr just celebrated 50 years of joy. Attached is a picture of the original homeowners who still live in the cul de sac. There was food, drink, games and even a little bit of illegal fireworks thrown in. http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2013/jul/0…— July 6, 2013 10:45 p.m.

2 days after my post about the tree limb breaking off there was a mountain lion spotting about a 1/4 mile away near Alpine Elementary School . Could there have been a lion sitting on the limb ready to pounce on the pedestrian as he was walking by ? Maybe his life was spared due to the limb breaking off as the predator launched. What are the chances the limb broke off just as a person walking. May be just my imagination. By the way, I love Alpine , I just watch my back around dawn or dusk. Much rather deal with wild animal than a crazy and wild occasional city folk. Correction.. The oak the is not the one which had a restaurant many years ago. http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2013/jul/0…— July 5, 2013 3:48 p.m.

June 29,2013 At approximately 8PM at the T-Bone intersection of Alpine Blvd and West Victoria a large limb broke off an old oak tree and landed inches from the bus stop. I stopped by and took pictures, a pedestrian who was walking by at the time showed me minor injuries. This might be the famous tree that grew inside a local restaurant many years ago. http://sandiegoreader.com/users/photos/2013/jul/0…— July 1, 2013 9:41 p.m.
