San Diego’s cut in parking spaces hurts homeless
The City should develop a place that motor homes, vans, cars, etc. could park. RV parks have hookup and showers and laundry facilities. Is such a place was developed and the people could park there and pay on a sliding scale. The people parking there could contribute work toward their "rent" by doing chores and helping on keeping the place clean. In the camping industry those who help out are called "work campers". Also wrap around services could be provided to help get these folks out of their vehicles and into permanent housing. Help those who want help and are willing to work too. The rest are bums.— May 8, 2019 4:23 p.m.

Larry Flynt tries Oceanside
It sounds like Larry Flynt Productions tries to place their non-adult adult businesses in cities where they view the City Council folks as country rubes. If they win and are able to locate their store in Oceanside then it will be proof that the City Council are idiots.— May 8, 2019 7:40 a.m.
Suspect in Mom's murder helped her with VRBO in Ocean Beach
Delinda Lombardo: A small correction to your reporting. You noted in your article that MxKibben " . . . was shot three times by SDPD," Not so. He was shot by an officer from the La Mesa PD not SDPD. The La Mesa Police responded to a trespassing call at a home in La Mesa. After if was discovered that McKibben was a suspect in a San Diego homicide they were notified.— May 8, 2019 7:34 a.m.
North Park and South Park – say goodbye to 30th Street as it is
Just another stupid idea. I do not go where I can't park or where I have to pay by the hour. Business will suffer.— May 4, 2019 7:21 a.m.
Bay Area billionaires bankroll Mark Kersey
I wonder what ever came of the raid on Leo's house? He was not arrested and there has been no news so it must have been a bust.— May 2, 2019 7:58 a.m.
Why so many pedestrian accidents in San Diego?
Julie:Your article is all over the place. Speed in and of itself is not the problem. Unsafe speed for road conditions and difference in speed are the problem. Interruptions in the flow of traffic causes more problems than speed itself. The causes of crashes, vehicle or pedestrian, are as diverse as the participants themselves. Pedestrians often feel that because they are in a crosswalk or have the green light that they are protected. Most of the people quoted in the article, speeders and residents have the misconception that every street can be radar enforced. Areas like Mira Mesa and Clairemont are gridlocked with traffic and of course will have more crashes. When you have vehicles, motorcycles, scooters, bikes and pedestrians mixed together along with DUI, DWO and electronic distractions there will be tragic results. And, no self driving cars are not the answer. Anyone born today will not live long enough to see a completely self-driving vehicles.— May 2, 2019 7:56 a.m.
Bay Area billionaires bankroll Mark Kersey
One only has to look at who financially supports a candidate to understand whom they will represent. Money talks and BS walks. Those who financially support a candidate also want their way. Those who are supporting Kersey could care less about real San Diegans.— May 2, 2019 7:42 a.m.
San Diego political ethics fines down in 2018, but why?
Politics and ethics are mutually exclusive.— May 2, 2019 7:38 a.m.
