Mayor Kevin Faulconer's city staff flies high on campaign cash
Amen but he will just be replaced by another money sucking pig. Follow the money and you will find who owns and operates the politician. Its all about the money. Of all the cities in San Diego County San Diego City is the most corrupt.— July 23, 2019 6:19 p.m.
The curve of death at El Mirador
Thanks to NAFTA many of these trucks are headed for American roads. If they are involved in a crash the victims have little recourse. The Mexican trucking company just changes names and keeps on truckin'. The rules on hours of service that apply to American & Canadian truckers do not apply to Mexican truckers. Their hours of service start at the border. They may have been driving for many hours before they reach the border. American truckers can not drive into Mexico like they can into Canada.— July 23, 2019 6:17 p.m.
Don't say retreat when talking about sea rise in California
I wonder who thought it would be a good idea to build a city below sea level along the coast?— July 22, 2019 6:56 a.m.
San Diego vacation renters' trash eyed
The new library program manager position sounds like one of those created "pay-back" positions. The high salary will be averaged with all the others to give the false impression that the average Civil Servant makes too much money and that their pay and benefits must be trimmed.— July 18, 2019 7:05 a.m.
Ward-Faulconer parking plan to Adams Ave. and Mid City groups: drop dead
Citizens and neighborhood groups are a pain in the a** to the elected elite.— July 16, 2019 5:30 p.m.
Mikey now gone from KFMB's 100.7
Just a bunch of over paid blowhards. Who cares?— July 16, 2019 5:26 p.m.
2016 holds record for Del Mar Fair
I wonder how many heart attacks can be attributed to the Fair?— July 9, 2019 4:58 p.m.
Do Del Mar fair and racetrack workers count in state housing mandates?
Just what is the definition of "affordable housing"? I worked hard and lived in communities that I could afford. I would like to have lived in La Jolla, Del Mar, Beverly Hills, wherever but I didn't make enough money to buy/rent there. I can't see how I have a right to live there or that these places that I can't afford should somehow make some sort of concession to me. I worked hard so that I wouldn't have to live in some place that I didn't want to. (I won't name any communities but there are many in San Diego County that are less than safe).— July 9, 2019 4:57 p.m.
Streetlight spy shakeup hits San Diego city hall
Sounds like the City is a lot like the Catholic Church moving around errant managers. Looks like another losing law suit for the city. Is this the best that the City can do?— July 9, 2019 4:50 p.m.
Funeral hustlers work Palm Avenue
The picture is of no value to the article as it is not of the perpetrators of the scam.— July 9, 2019 4:46 p.m.
