The quasi-divine, vaguely porklike glory of the McRib
If you stop eating McDonalds food and then go back to eating it you can't stomach it. It is nutritional garbage.— April 2, 2020 7:28 a.m.
The coolness of south Oceanside's Moose Lodge
Most of these "loges" are nothing more than a place to drink. Kudos to the Oceanside Moose Lodge for reinventing itself.— April 1, 2020 4:51 p.m.
San Diego drug dealers move on
Jay Masch: Years ago SDPD had a program called "Adopt a prostitute" along El Cajon Blvd. and University Ave. It consisted of a police officer walk along with a prostitute. It sure discouraged "Johns" and the prostitutes moved on. They, like drug dealers, never go away they just move along. But it sure was fun.— April 1, 2020 4:46 p.m.
San Diego drug dealers move on
Re: Mr. Anonymous. He probably went to PuBliK Skool. Having said that humor is helpful in stressful situations.— April 1, 2020 4:42 p.m.
Darrell Issa foundation tips hand to North County Farms
Maybe instead of working my a** off I should start a "Family Foundation". Issa will win because the voters of East County will vote against their own interests. Hunter and Issa are birds of a feather.— April 1, 2020 4:37 p.m.
Que Huong Vietnamese restaurant serves quail, wild boar, deer, and more
No thanks I'll pass.— March 31, 2020 5:42 p.m.
San Diego airport increasingly vacant, salaries aren't
Of course how could the Airport function without the overpaid executives working from home while the employees, the ones that they still need, forge on and the furloughed are left financially stranded. I'll bet the high paid exes couldn't possibly get by for a couple of months without their pay. None of them are worth any where near what they are paid.— March 31, 2020 5:41 p.m.
Carlsbad's Lhooq Books – the after story
Too much expensive red tape to encourage business or anything else. Carlsbad only wants the uber wealthy to remain in the city limits.— March 31, 2020 5:36 p.m.
Some Mexican border travelers are undaunted
You can't protect stupid people from themselves. Close the border. The Mexican government and the Mexican health care system is unprepared and unable to handle even a moderate outbreak.— March 31, 2020 7:32 a.m.
Tijuana tangos with corona
The Mexican government especially in Baja and TJ have no ability to deal with an large outbreak of Coronavirus. If or more likely when there is a massive outbreak we will have to close the border.— March 30, 2020 7:24 a.m.
