My name is Sigournee Grondin and I am a photojournalist. I am a college graduate from California State University, Northridge.
I like to travel, eat and most importantly, take photographs of people, places or things.
I just finished working on my university's newspaper, Daily Sundial. I was a staff photographer, as well as reporter when needed. The experience gave me great real life experience. I was immersed into breaking news, features and I even had a beat to cover. It was incredible to see how hectic a newsroom can be.
Nothing makes me happier than taking a photograph that evokes emotion from the viewer. I love giving my friends, family or strangers, the chance to view the world through my eyes.
