Backed by pro sufers, skaters, and snowboarders, this company is looking to introduce action sports fans to craft beer. An unfortunate side effect of that overriding undertaking is that reaching customers unfamiliar with craft beer means brewing mostly — or in Saint Archer’s case — only entry-level styles that have fallen short of most seasoned drinkers’ hopes. The recent hiring of former Pizza Port standout brewer Yiga Miyashiro and upcoming introduction of more exciting styles are good signs.
